That's a serious disadvantage compared to coins like Bitcoin, Monero, Litecoin, Ethereum, and many others which have far, far lower inflation. Holding a coin that will more than double its supply in just one year is a huge risk.

There are many coins focused on privacy and anonymity that are lot cheaper than Zcash
such as zcoin, zencash, cloakcoin, zerocoin and more. There are some threads where some
posters have done good analysis of these and pros and cons of each.

development team. Another fork  is  Zcash Classic but does not have much active

Exactly, it would be foolish to buy Zcash for such a high price, while a better version of it with highly active development (ZEN cash) and soon marketing is available.

Take your time for research but basically: ZEN cash is the cheaper and further advanced version of Zcash.

The ZCash price has dropped a lot recently. So it might be good time to buy some.

who is using ZEC ?
it could go to 3k easily but need a good reason o.o its not being used only the tech being used for forks

I've bought some Zcash, it seems one of the few big market cap with short term potential for a +50, +100%. (after LTC, Ripple, ETH, BTC, Monero, IoTA, Dash, Nem crazy spikes)

Zcash price probably will goes above $500 if bitcoin keep climbing. Zcash is absolutely anonim coin and can not be tracked. It is also hard to mine. The only problem with zcash is. Every mined coin going to developer 5 %. Some people looking at this tax to developer is not a good thing but some people think developer deserve to get the 5%. Zcash need some innovation for going above $500

I think Zcash 1000 can be seen in a short time. The rise of Ethereum is a positive influence in Zec. Dash can always stay in good shape at a similar price. Conclusion Zec is a beautiful project.

Zcash can come at much higher prices. Because the amount to be produced is small. And I think Zec's technology is very strong. In this case, naturally good prices will already be seen.
