because US had put it in the minds of individuals through tv news that countries from africa, iraq and syria and god knows where else are all countries of terrorist.  its the same thing when they murder black people there in omaha. they may even just leave your carcass on the streets.

I agree with you. The people of us are conditioned by the media.

It's natural that people are usually more concerned about events happened in their countries and cities.
It's hard to empathize with people who live in distant lands and about which we don't know much.
In fact, we heard so much tragic news and reports from Iraq and Syria that it's difficult to be more shocked or worried about it.
Journalists also have a great role in it.
They should share personal stories and testimonies from Iraq and Syria, in order to help average people to understand situation there.

It's going to get better in the middle east now since it was all for the power and controll over middle east by Russia and US mostly.
I do not even know how to react to your words about what will be better in the Middle East. And this is after the cities were destroyed and many people were killed? How everything will get better, it's not clear. Russia and the USA are at war not only for influence, but also for energy resources.

Putin supports Asad, CIA under Democtatic influence created and was funding ISIS for a long time (that's a fact).
Now there's no war industry infuence on Trump and he wants to fight ISIS, not support them like previous govermnent did.

So yes, it will get better.

There are few reasons why:
People care more about whats happening in their countries and around it. Syria and Iraq looks far away for mostly Europeans and Americans and they don't care much about it.
Also, bad news from these countries already become routine for many people and it doesn't makes strong reaction.
And news media have big influence. If something like terrorist attack happens in Europe - TV channels talks whole week about it, internet is full of clickbait articles with all important and not details about attack. If something similar happens let's say in Iraq -  we only can see few articles about it and few minutes length report on TV.

Humans are not suited to caring for large numbers of people. Some may think that the Dunbar number is an oversimplification but I still think there's some sense to it. Your bitcoin may buy a family in Africa a small business but you'd probably more likely to spend it on yourself. That don't automatically make humans callous, we just have priorities. We may see a terror attack or a bombing abroad and well bad for the victims but life ensures we have more issues at hand to care about them for a long time.

And of course media. Even without manipulation, it's only natural that Western news outlets would focus on violence happening in Western nations. Hence the marathon after terror attacks. Do you think outlets in the Middle East would dedicate as much air time to an attack in Paris or London? I don't think so. But if it's an attack on say, Dubai, Riyadh or Cairo, they might.

^ agreed but i think it's more than that. It's not only because of distance or not being as personal to people. I think it has to do with the illusion that people in the west have that they are apart from the rest of the world. Especially in america. That bad things happen somewhere else in the world. And that maybe we can or can't do something about it but who cares. Might be wrong but i don't think people in the rest of the world are so much like this.

People in the middle east (muslims) have been killing each other and killing other cultures as well for centuries. To us westerners these people are barbaric insecure uneducated and unworthy of us caring for them. I wish that these different sects, sunni, shiite, whahabbi and whatever else there is would just die off. Their beliefs have caused millions misery and will continue to do so until these morons stop believing that killing others is what their deity wants.

Yes they are barbaric and unworthy because they don't reach the level of us westerners. Killing each other for centuries? Noobs. Us westerners have killed, enslaved tortured, raped and pillaged all around the world for centuries. In some places we displaced and sometimes killed entire populations to take their land and resources. And some of it continues to this day in different forms. Doesn't excuse the problems with muslims and their culture. But don't think the west is that much superior. In fact why are we still selling billions in weapons and helping saudi arabia spread wahhabism around the world for example?

This is a sign that the lord Jesus Christ said shall come at the end! People don't value life again when from the beginning he created them male and female. Syria people even part of Africa like Nigeria people are being slaughter in their homes and nobody even the government do not care. But when it happened in countries like America and uk the whole world will be concerned. God is watching us.

Looks to me that more people care now than in the past. Part of it is probably more people having access to news. And better news sources. But not only.

Seems like you are unaware of what is happening in the Middle East. The United States and Russia are playing only a supporting role in the conflict. The main battle is between Iran and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

If something similar happens let's say in Iraq -  we only can see few articles about it and few minutes length report on TV.
And all this is because the authorities without excessive aggression are trying in Europe to create a quiet life and a democratic society, unlike all countries in the eastern region, where neither democracy nor humility is observed. Therefore, all have become accustomed to violence in the Middle East.
