Looking for Ragnarok Online developer

I am in need of a Ragnarok Online developer to just relaunch an old server. I don't own the old server and the original owner just gave all the files to me, so basically I don't have any experience running it so I don't have any info about it though I still have contact with the original owner. Well, if you have experience in doing this, do pm me.

You don't need a Ragnarok Online developer specifically to help you set up and run your own private server. You need a person who has experience running private servers and you can easily find someone online around the mmorpg communities like WoW for example. You would be better off trying to find someone on a more specialised forum than this though.

If you are planning on running the server for free and collecting donations for premium items there are surely people out there who could help you for a fee.

I am currently looking also on herc and athena forum. Just wanted to post it here, since I am fairly familiar with this forum. I think a dev might be needed as things are looking messy as the original owner said that there were problems relaunching the server as it has a lot of incompatibilities with the new emulators.

Do you have the database backups of the old users? I've never actually setup a Ragnorak server, but i've setup many PVPGN, wow, and other games private servers. The compatibility issues you're having are probably due to outdated plugins and you'll need to find newer versions(If available).

Well, do you have a vps or a server to set everything up on? That's the first place to start. I'll help you out with this project and i'm pretty sure we'll get it going lol. Upload a zip of what all you have to google drive or somewhere.

Also if possible, once server is in test phase, lemme know as well. That way I would be able to check if bugs from previous editions of the game are still working. If they do, I would let you know. There are lots of bugs ingame that can be exploited and would ruin the experience for everyone, thus causing the server to die.
