hi ive been waiting on a transaction to go through but I didn't add a fee is that why it would've been held up for so long (20 hrs)

If you don't have a transaction fee or you paid a low transaction fee, your transaction will take much longer to receive a confirmation. With no transaction fee, you will be waiting multiple days.

You can try contacting either quickseller or macbook-air and offering a small payment for them to get your transaction confirmed. They don't charge much and can get F2Pool to confirm your transaction.
