This kind of situation happen from time to time. Come one guy, think about the bright side. It's time to invest some serious money, take all you have convert to bitcoin, of course I wouldn't recommend to all in your money, but invest smart and carefully at this crazy moment is really smart choice. Price drop buy it, price up sell it, repeat this step.

I really wanted to invest months ago before this shitstorm started. I thought about holding and selling for 50%++ profit after the next halving. Now it is much more likely to lose money than actual profit. And whoever is in bitcoin, is to speculate and make profit not for ideological reasons. Two developer groups that are also mining cartels are at war. If things calm down, bitcoin's death will be avoided but it's stagnation will still persist and the level of trust bitcoin had, people thinking it can't really die, is seriously shaken. For me, atleast.

There are so many delusional people who created threads and talked about what they would do with 1bitcoin in 10-20 years when it would be worth millions. This kind of illusion seems dead now. Bitcoin was first and it's a victim of it's own success. Whales and miners got rich and they overestimated their own intellect and importance, took bad decisions that led it to this very moment.

I think this period where the prices are dropping will be a good investment to buy. And for people who have already brought it at a high price they shall be beneficial from the average. I feel we can make good amount of profits if we keep on buying at every fall and then when it rises boom, we are rich again. That's my idea for this fall, let's get rich. Do less transactions, as the fees will be shooting up and up. I don't think bu or segwit will last long. It's only makes sense to accumulate all the Bitcoins you yet can.

Now everybody saw the recovery from 200's to 1300$'s, it is impossible to go that low again. Because when we get closer to 200's the support will become harder and harder. It probably won't go lower than 500's. I am talking about a scenario where there is a massive panic btw. If the bull run which started from 200's is still continuing the bottom should be 900's. If we go lower, It means the bear market is on and get prepared for a 1-2 year bear market.

Nice one. Some of us is losing hope, faith and the will to go in these days. BTC price is going down again yet don't crumble. Hard times is part of our lives. Be cautious of what's going on out there, if not we're just going to lose. Stress and over thinking won't help. We step into this field with risk, so along the road risk is present. Bitcoin is a product of human intellect and anything that is made by us can be gone in a matter of seconds. Losing is hard to bear tho' but losing heart does more damage. Keep moving forward if there are hard times there are also good times and a brighter future is coming.

This battle between BU and SW is making almost everyone nervous. Miners are divided and they making community divided, cause of all that we have this situation, and this situation is making almost everyone pretty nervous.
Hold or dump is big question for many of us now, I will not sell my stash for now. Its not big and I will risk and wait price to go back up.

Normally i would agree. But this time is different, investors have no say in bitcoin's future nor they can influence it in any way except by dumping it and therefore lowering it's value.

But wasn't it a bit different ? Bitcoin at 200$ wasn't challenged at all because altcoins were worth beans. Taking it for granted is extremely risky, especially since those who control it are the people that are 3 in 1: devs, mining whales, bitcoin whales.

But isn't that extremely risky ? If it drops to 200$, then it will be worth much less than ethereum. Losing the king's crown and with it the bitcoin brand will be seriously shaken. Would you risk your money betting on that horse ?

Without the dream of being rich 10 years from now because you could buy 10 coins which kept this bubble going, it will deflate and fall back on real economic value, which is minuscule.

Its not time to be panicking and making some ruckus on the decrease of bitcoins value rendering you losing a profit. The best thing to do is to stay calm and hold your bitcoins while to some grab your dollars and buy some bitcoins. It is the best time to get one since the value is low and we can have a good earning potential later on when everything is fixed.

Some of us is losing hope,

WTF are you losing hope over?  Because we've had a price drop in the last week?  Hello, welcome to bitcoin!!  This is nothing compared to 2013-14.  We're just seeing some volatility and idiots selling and losing money doing so.  If you really believe in bitcoin, just suck it up--and probably don't check the price for a month or so.  Just don't look at it.  People are losing their minds over this BU thing, and I can't say I understand it at all.  Transaction fees are what they are.  I think btc can survive just fine as a store of value.  It doesn't have to work as a currency.

That's why I've said "Some of Us".

I've been helping my friends lately because they have a shortage in tuitions and they're parents are just trying to make ends meet. Well in the first weeks they are intrigue and fired up in earning BTC but as I have observe they just give up because they don't quite sure that they can make it and they are easily affected in bitcoins wayward prices. Youre right about the checking of bitcoins price that you must not check it everyday and see the inflation instead in a monthly manner. But there is what we call beginners attitude.

No mater what I've said to them that it needs patience they just go. Bitcoin has a long way to go so we all are.

And yup it doesn't have to work as a currency but in the advancement of technology I think we can't avoid it to be a currency.

Bitcoin has been going dumped its price, fluctuating its price because of the things happening these past days. But I beleive its price will rise again, many of investors are hoping for the best. All is well though.

Agree but it's about to go down when the prroduction every four years ended because the limit every four years reboot again that means you can mine more bitcoin again so maybe price will go down.

making transactions is as much as important as earning the coins. But now the case is we can not make transactions for every single penny so I think it should be taught to every person that how to manage your money processing even in difficult situations and as I know bitcoin transaction fees are going to rise even more.I can say the transaction fees are not actually effecting any of my deals because of my business strategy but it is affecting basically to most of the common users.

How do you like it now? I didn't even get any when it dropped and look at it now. Why don't I listen to myself? Next time I'll listen and buy when it drops and it will keep dropping; I know it.

we just all need to focus on our goal, though there are a lot of negative news around, we need to make sure that we are always in a win-win situation. we should remember that bitcoin is still curreny, there are times that the value goes up, goes down and move sideways, there will be times like this, for sure we all made an exit plan for everything, just like when having a job, we need to make an exit plan for us, so when we retire, we could just relax and enjoy, same with bitcoin, bitcoin gives us a lot of hope, and for sure we can attain the goals that we had set, however you need to be strong in times like this, especially with all the negativity, we must remember this had already happened before many times, and yet bitcoin is showing its power, after a few years, bitcoin will surely gain more value and those we didn't hold on, might be regretting their decision.
