The whales are now dumping their coins and it has caused a major fall in the bitcoins price. But even after those dumps the supporters of bitcoin with its numbers is trying to overcome the dumps by buying more bitcoins from the market in the low price. Many bitcoin supporters are happy to see the price of bitcoin to fall down since it is a signal for them to buy more. More power to bitcoins and to the community, its time to buy more bitcoins!

Does it matter whether or not the whales are selling? What he's saying is that the value is under $1k, in fact it is under $950 as I write this, and there is a huge opportunity to make good on positions that take some Bitcoin away from the whales and put in into the pockets of people willing to hodl or move it around more than whales would. I personally expect for whales to be transitioning from BTC to ETC or DASH for the time being, since those markets have a lot more long position potential compared to Bitcoin, but that's changing since we went low. |

Yakamoto is correct time to spread it to other people. I guess we should pursue more to buy if we cant anymore. Of course we cant sacrifice all our money for buying it all so we need help. Other small investors would love to hold some bitcoin if they will be pursued to think that it will rise if they do buy now. Somehow it needs to be a wholesale.  |

There wouldn't be that many guys crying about Bitcoin if they would just learn to hold their coins and forget about the price. With all this debate about the Bitcoin Unlimited and other Altcoins getting close to Bitcoins price the distraction was pretty successful so the holders could dump their precious BTC.
Now that the price went up, the posts are now being deleted or the posters are too busy trying to purchase their coins back within Bitcoin Exchanges.

many possibilities that will happen in this situations and we don't know what is the truth and why this could be happen in the market. but as long as we can calm and don't get panic about what is going on and we can still take profit, then we will be survive no matter how much the price is. beside that, for lower price, i think there will be many people using this opportunity to buy as much of bitcoin as they can and they will hold it because they bought bitcoin with cheap price so if the price is increases they can get big profit.

Can you tell me the proof? Looks like they realize the effect by the hardfork. Although it was still a rumour but it's really bearish for the bitcoin. No, you're wrong. The market just shows a support. Many bitcoin supporters are happy to see the price of bitcoin to fall down since it is a signal for them to buy more. More power to bitcoins and to the community, its time to buy more bitcoins!
I'm not, And I really hate the price of bitcoin gets plunged. There are no a lot of the supports on the market and it means if the demand are moving on the another direction such as to the altcoin trade. |

Yes,the price is recovering and its now $940.I think the big whales have realized that bitcoin cant be dumped more and otherwise,they have to lose their bitcoins to others.So they are buying it back.Ha Ha Once again got a chance to see a good drama. |

open up an exchange next time this happens and you will see the big dumps in one order (eg 700 BTC) then continue on watching the price and how it changes and see the tiny sells (1-2) and continue watching more and see the wall that will be placed lower after the panic slowed down to buy the cheap coins back again. |

It's up the traders and holders if how big their nerve and keep closed eyes while price still dropping, surely in the coming days price will fluctuate back and the value will rises up again, just needed to assess properly in order to avoid much bigger lose. |

Whales?? lol remember the prices and bitcoins are measured in mBtc (1 thousandth's)  it took only ~99btc (99,392mbtc) to move the price from $931 to $926 for all you fake market cap lovers out there.. under $100k to turn $15,114,878,100 market cap down to $15,033,702,600 market cap thats a drop of $81,175,500 using under $100k
edit few minutes later  less than $302 to drop the price from $935 to $933 ⇘yep $302 to make the markt cap change by $32,470,200.00 then ~$50 to ramp the price from $933 to $935 ⇗yep $50 to make the market cap change by 32,470,200.00
edit hour later  0.013btc ($12.13) to move the price from $950 to $948 thats $32m off the meaningless market cap.. yep $12.13 caused that |

Users panic because not clean traders carry out manipulation of the bitcoin course and this frightens people. The price will always fluctuate, but still slowly rise up. Therefore, only calmness is needed. |

Therefore, only calmness is needed. its not about panic.. its market manipulation by the markets own programming and order limits. if the only orders you can make are in $1 increments.. then thats $16m-is market cap change every time an order line is filled. even if that order line only contains 1mbtc (0.0001) the fix is to allow more increments EG not 0.934-0.935 but 0.93401-0.93402-0.93403-0.93404-0.93405 that way the price doesnt move by the whole dollar (volatile with no pressure needed/much coin needed).. but instead in cent amounts more smoothly |

That's definitely not a newbie but might be some shark(like what jet cash said) or investor because I don't think someone new to bitcoin would have that kind of amount right away then manipulates the prices like that. Some are staying away from bitcoin that's why they're selling because if the split does happen bitcoin's price should crash. |
