I don't think so that the Ant router could mine altcoin through SHA256. SHA256 can only mine bitcoin.
the hashing chips can handle any sha256d coin you throw at them, the question which remains however is if the software supports adding custom pools, if so yes its possible, else no
in the second case there probably is an alternative rom which allows setting custom pools
i dont own any antrouter, but i would imagine you should be able to set custom pools by default
