I don't think people will want to play on a new gambling site with no trust, considering how a previous and pretty trustworthy one ran.

Rounds 3 & 4 both had no winners... Round 5 in progress running to target block 237,000 with a prize pool of 0.065 BTC ($8.12 USD) at the time of writing.

I decided for the fun of it to run through the block chain and count up all the hash endings to see if any where neglected or if it's fairly uniform and the results I found suggest the distribution is fairly uniform and there is an equal chance of winning with any ending to your transaction.

Code:
Blocks ending in 0 = 14740
Blocks ending in 1 = 15022
Blocks ending in 2 = 15045
Blocks ending in 3 = 14989
Blocks ending in 4 = 14847
Blocks ending in 5 = 14631
Blocks ending in 6 = 14755
Blocks ending in 7 = 14837
Blocks ending in 8 = 14739
Blocks ending in 9 = 14536
Blocks ending in a = 14822
Blocks ending in b = 14688
Blocks ending in c = 14884
Blocks ending in d = 14620
Blocks ending in e = 14787
Blocks ending in f = 14773
236715 Blocks analyzed.

Once more a round goes by winner-less leaving behind a current prize of 0.0656849 BTC rolling over to round 6 which will end at block 238,000.
A spreadsheet containing the entrants can be found at http://blockend.net/index.php/past-rounds/11-round-5

Only 22 blocks remain in Round 6, and there is a 93.75% (15/16) chance we will have a winner this time around.

As it stands right now "5" is the only ending without an entry current prize is 0.0836849BTC ($11.05)
Code:
Current Round Entries
0 = 1
1 = 1
2 = 2
3 = 2
4 = 3
5 =
6 = 3
7 = 2
8 = 3
9 = 2
a = 3
b = 1
c = 4
d = 1
e = 1
f = 3
Total = 32

We have had similar cases here back 1 yrago. *digging out that case, some what like send 0.25 each time*

Not sure what I'm looking at here... So that address sent out and received a lot of 0.25 BTC transactions but where were they going?

"There is no way you can lose." And that's when you know that one is a sham.

Otherwise that looks almost exactly like my idea, I can see how you would think I may be taking inspiration and run with the coins

So other than the fear that I will run with the coins are there any other faults or concerns with this concept?

Sadly Round 8 came and went without a single entrant, so to get the next round rolling I seeded it with 0.1 BTC
