On the other hand in the 890s is very strong support and this is the area of a lower trendline which belongs again to an upwards channel in which we moved from top to bottom now!
Furthermore SegWit miner signaling is at an ATH, SegWit nodes are at ATH, while BU remains stalled.
I agree that there is still no solution for the conflict yet, but the big FUD, what it still think it is, is over for now.

It's the demand that lifts the price back to the $1000 levels. It makes me smile that no matter how many times people dump their coins, that there are enough other people willing to use these lower levels to buy the price back to the $1000s. Other than that, pools will not choose for BU as it's simply not profitable for them. Their only intention is to make profit, and Bitcoin is exactly that what gives them these profits. the timing was very interesting though
F2Pool has been silent for a long time about all these things apart from we hearing lots of rumors and then the BU split FUD spreads and they are still silent (possibly wanting price fall) and after the bottom was reached they say "we won't let bitcoin fork" and that is the end of BU! and now price is rising back up again, already $130+ above the bottom.

Never say never because when bitcoin was stable nearly 1200$, suddenly due to okcoin and one otherexchanger's (can't remember name) transactions stop caused bitcoin price fall. Also suddenly situation was fixed in 1-2 day and price become stable. Now it falled and minimum price in this week was 898$ but quickly become nearly 1050$. Lu commented that this requirement is not feasible and does not follow the trends of the internet, citing that even stock market trading accounts allow remote video verification.

I may be wrong but people who think and plan like this will never act on it because of a very simple reason, when price is higher than your target (whether it is at $250 and you want $200 or it is $2500 and you want $2400) you say 'it is high and I can't make profit if I invest'.
then when price comes down from that "high" price, you start thinking 'it is going down and is on a down trend so I will stay away' and miss the chance once again.

As I am writing this, the price is $1208 on preev and it seems another good rise again since the last time we reached this point and fall down below $900. We can't predict whether bitcoin will continue to climb up or slowly decline as people who bought bitcoin at $850-$1000 may tempting to sell out to get profits instead waiting for others doing the same thing and we do not.
