How many Active users are there on this forum ?

I was curious that how many total users ( active ) are on this forum and in what they are interested?

I thought of this because I think it might Help us to think lot more that we should do here I mean the kind of business we should start.

I will add the poll after listening to some interesting topics that people here on this forum are interested.

Impossible to say, a lot of people have multiple accoumts (alts). You'd never be able to get a true reflection of how many individual people post here unfortunately.

Speaking of which,wouldn't take theymos  a lot of time to fire a query that would give the count on number of active accounts on the forum.The question is,what would you do with that kind of information ?

Only Theymos can answer this question if he would share Google Analytics stats about forum. But I don't think that he would do it.
Now forum have 950k registered users. But if I remember correctly, someone said that ~half of these users didn't made even single post. Probably these members is only bots or people who visited forum only one time and never come back.
Even single person may have hundreds of alts. Also, scam advertisers, trolls, spammers and etc have lot of accounts. Finally, many of members isn't active anymore.
My blind prediction that that forum have between 15k and 25k active users.
It's easy to answer in what members are interested in - just check which threads gets many replies.

We start with the 959,475 registered accounts and delete the 669,072 accounts that have not signed on for 90 days, have no posts and no trust.  This leaves us with 290,403 active accounts.

That's exactly what I was looking for but how an external website like that has so much info about this forum?

How difficult would it be for theymos to determine how many unique users post/have posted here? With the use of VPN's, TOR etc I don't know if it'd ever be possible to do it.
