Why is it so difficult to get referrals to these sites?

People are tired of these business models like MLM, MMM, this business model that consists of recruiting people so you can make money makes people give up.
Years ago even people believed in this business model, because the creators of these business models made many promises, they said that people would become rich, that people would buy houses and cars.
But time has shown people another side of the story, a dark side.
People who do not get referrals gave up soon and consequently their money that was deposited on the site was with the administrator.
More and more people are disillusioned with this business model and today few still believe in this business model
You see people prefer to lose or make money on hyip ponzi sites that join MMM, MLM, Matrix sites.
