I'm going to be running one-day auctions, selling 1.0 LTC per day to the highest bidder in Bytecoins.  The first auction begins now and runs until 2013-04-25T00:00:00 UTC.  That's about 41 hours from now.  After that another Litecoin goes up for sale, taking bids for 24 hours, terminating at 2013-04-26T00:00:00 UTC.  I'll do this for several days, selling 1 Litecoin per day.  The last auction will end at 2013-05-03T00:00:00Z.

Place your bids by posting on this thread.  I'll contact the winners by PM with an address to send payment, after which I'll send the Litecoin.  I'll update this post to declare the winners and keep track of payment status.  Bids for each day's new auction can begin immediately at 00:00:00 UTC.

Why would you give away something worth money, for something worth nothing?

Doesn't seem worth the time & effort for the volume.

Coinbase for selling BTCs
Fold for spending BTCs
PM me with any questions on these sites/apps!  http://www.montybitcoin.com

or Vircurex for trading alt cryptocurrencies like DOGEs
CoinNinja for exploring the blockchain.

Why would you give away something worth money, for something worth nothing?

First off, value is subjective. Smiley

In this case, I get four things out of the transaction:
* currency that I do value
* psychological satisfaction: enjoyment; I enjoy this idea so much that I've actually been enjoying just the thought of doing it, for days
* information: pricing data.
* psychological satisfaction: the gratification of providing this pricing data to the community

Now, I've given you something of value (information: the answer to your question) for free.  How much was it worth to you?  Next question I may suggest that I be compensated for providing valued information. Wink  Have a great day, and may every coin you own go up in value.

What a great illustration of how subjective value is!

I like that! That's a pretty cool greeting. It sounds sort of Elder Scrolls-ish. That being said, 'may you walk on warm sands, friend' ^_^

I can sell you 125 BTE for 120 LTC

Thanks, but I'm not looking for direct offers.  This is more about pricing data and all in fun entertainment than it is about acquiring BTE.

If you're interested, I would love to list your order for 120.0 LTC for 125.0 BTE on RBCex.
