Custom  Jalapeno chip with a whole suite of Wallet apps, maybe even some Satoshi Dice software as way to get some investment from them. Id buy one that's for sure! You could use a wireless connection to mine and your phone is normally always on so that would mean your mining while in range of the wireless connection. Also the Litephone a cheaper version could be released in conjunction with the Bitphone, bringing Cyrpto Currencies and mobile user based banking to the World.

You'd probably need to leave your phone plugged in all day.

The battery would run out, mobile devices aren't really for mining.

It would essentially be a low powered device even a Jalapeno chip is not really that much. One version could be a miner while others  for wallets and apps.

Have you SEEN the Jalapeno? It draws so much it needs its own power brick.

It was a metaphor for custom chip inside the phone as part of the production side, it could be a fairly reasonably sized handset which would help for cooling.

Have you used one of the newer smartphones? My GNex already gets blazing hot as it is.

I think along those lines would be creating a custom launcher for android designed around Cryptocurrency.

Maybe a UI that allows you use wallets for BTC/PPC/LTC making it easier for people to use these currencies on the go and immerse the android experience in it.

Mobile phone production is pretty advanced they are experts at chip runs and also as mentioned they are well aware of heating of phones, if a line dedicated to bitcoin was produced it could switch the asic game in favour of the mass market which will happen eventually IMO far to much money in mass market economics these days.

Mobile phones are low power and usually idle, whereas for mining your chip needs to run full speed, full power, nonstop. Low power mining ASIC doesn't make sense either economically or practically.

Honestly, there are many mining bitcoin what we need more of us making it easier to use bitcoin in everyday transaction, a bitcoin wallet phone would make more sense and be more doable.

unless a super energy efficient chip which far far far exceeds asics and was not a power drain. you would then run into problems of low signal in certain area's where you may miss a crucial block solving oppertunity.

if you are looking for a 24/7 soltion to mining. buy a rig. leave it running at home.. go to work.

use your phone purely to remote access the stats of it and see your earnings at home go up, while fiat taxes make your employment income go down
