The Eu is a gang of robbing politicians robbing our taxes to do what they please..
And the 28 countries politicians were all ripping us off by over charging on building statues anything Wink.

You go to work  and give me 10 pounds of your wages ?

I will spend 8 pounds on something you don't need   well that's what your getting a plastic gnome
and the other 2 pounds i will keep for myself..

And 500 million people will do this for me Grin..

You would tell me to fuck off Wink..So the same goes to the EU..

The saying goes you don't get nothing for nothing in this world..

So explain how does paying all the EU politicians wages plus the building they sit in   plus the IMF bank
So how do we pay for all this and keep giving nations free money..

You see how we pay for it is WE GIVE 10 BILLION AND GET 5 BILLION BACK..
A loss of 5 billion to pay the EU GANGSTERS  ..

Now i have trouble with my own countries politicians     never mind politicians i don't even know
So why on earth would i want them in my life..
Just about want our own politicians in power..

To many politicians all over Europe SCAMMING THE PUBLIC..

every country on this planet as scamming politicians ..Some good ones   some bad ones in every land..

Just need to weed them out Wink..Like the whole EU POLITICIANS weed them out..
And i like weed Grin

Scottish parliament votes for second independence referendum

MSPs pass motion to give Nicola Sturgeon the authority to begin negotiations with UK parliament on breakaway vote

Nicola Sturgeon has won a key Holyrood vote on her plans for a second independence referendum, triggering accusations from UK ministers that her demands are premature.

Sturgeon won by a 10-vote majority after the Scottish Greens backed her proposals to formally request from the UK government the powers to stage a fresh independence vote at around the time Britain leaves the EU, in spring 2019.
UK government signals it will block second Scottish independence referendum until early 2020s - as it happened

She is due to write to Theresa May later this week, asking for Westminster to hand Holyrood the temporary powers to stage the referendum under a section 30 order. She said she would avoid writing until the prime minister had invoked article 50 to trigger the Brexit process, which she is expected to do on Wednesday.

“It is not my intention to do so confrontationally, instead I only seek sensible discussion,” Sturgeon told MSPs.

The vote, which split the Scottish parliament cleanly between pro- and anti-independence parties, deepened the dispute between the two governments over both the need for and the timing of the vote.

David Mundell, the Scottish secretary, told the BBC the answer to Sturgeon’s request would be no. “We won’t be entering any negotiations at all until the Brexit process is complete,” he said. “Now is the time for the Scottish government to come together with the UK government, work together to get the best possible deal for the UK, and that means Scotland, as we leave the EU.”

Mundell rejected Sturgeon’s claims that May had told her the terms of the UK’s departure from the EU and its new trade deal would be clear in about 18 months. Sturgeon said that timeframe matched her preference for a referendum just as the UK quits the EU in March 2019.

For a foreigner it's really hard to imagine such thing to happen. It's always been the UK)))

I don't know who feels UKish, but I doubt very many people do. It's a convenient framework and that's about it.

You're likely to get an impressively hostile reaction from your UK brethren if you're from a part they don't appreciate.

Imagine what will happen if Scotland secedes from the United Kingdom. The UK is a super power (or more reasonably said, an ex-super power). Scotland will be never able to achieve the power and dominance, which is currently wielded by the UK. Also, remember that the UK is a nuclear power.

And in general, what resources are there in Scotland, thanks to which it can exist? I do not know about such people. Can it have a lot of gas or oil, or is the production strong? And you should not talk about a nuclear shield. For this, there is a nato. But there are no real opportunities to live independently.

I don't think Scotland has the slightest desire to be powerful and dominant. Happy and prosperous sounds like a much more cheerful plan.

I'd rather be living in somewhere like Iceland which has zero desire to fuck with anywhere else than Russia or the US.

The UK government has already said it will block Scottish referendum until the completion of Brexit. Interestingly enough if forces Theresa May to keep Britain from collapse. Here is an example of what can happen to the country if you trust the right choices for the future not professionals. It is a crisis of democracy.

Well the Scots may want their freedom but if they don't attain any benefits from the European Common Market for doing so its not as attractive. Either way the Brit's are in a strong enough position to leverage the commonwealth as a hedge being an old superpower the relations are still there and they are lucky to have the Queen around to handle this mess for now. The figurehead has lingering power through stability.

You've got a very important point. Smaller nations tend to be more peaceful and prosperous. That may be due to the fact that they mind their own business and never interfere in the internal affairs of anyone else. Apart from Iceland, we have examples such as Malta, Luxembourg, Lichtenstein, Andorra.etc.

I disagree with you. In the East a lot of small countries, but they cannot be called peaceful. As to the power of Britain, I think her time has passed. They are the former Empire. Now it's just one of the developed countries, not more. In the separation of Scotland no one will use nuclear weapons. I do think that the horror stories about nuclear weapons have no meaning because even in the presence of the nuclear Arsenal of the war will lead in conventional arms.

Even in the East (Asia/Oceania) most of the smaller nations are peaceful. Look at nations such as Bhutan, Brunei, Maldives, Singapore, Nauru, Palau, Tonga, and Syechelles. They are much more peaceful and economically developed than their neighbors.

And what can Britain offer to other countries, if it can not even protect itself. According to the latest data, they even failed to launch tests of new nuclear missiles. They fell short of the target. It's a shame that the British hid.

IMO, the United Kingdom should not be allowed to posses the nuclear weapons anymore. They are no longer a super-power, and if Germany and Japan can do without the nukes, then there is no reason why we should allow the possession of such weapons by the UK.

IMO, the United Kingdom should not be allowed to posses the nuclear weapons anymore. They are no longer a super-power, and if Germany and Japan can do without the nukes, then there is no reason why we should allow the possession of such weapons by the UK.

Hey, I helped pay for them with the tax on my hot take out food so I'd like to keep them. They're lots of fun for everyone and spawn cool James Bond esque facilities.

So soon there will be a new release of the film about the legendary agent 007. Lol. But only if Serious, then Britain will lose its position in its positions, if it comes out of the European Union and loses Scotland.

And what can Britain offer to other countries, if it can not even protect itself. According to the latest data, they even failed to launch tests of new nuclear missiles. They fell short of the target. It's a shame that the British hid.

Why if? The UK has already launched the brexit. It seems to me that to stop this process is no longer possible. Those who voted for brexit not thought about the consequences. It seems to me that politicians have played in democracy. This may lead to disintegration of the country.

I think the consensus is that it might be reversible in theory, which of course would be vastly controversial.

However as time goes on it's going to become clearer and clearer how many lies were dropped during the campaign and just how fucked the UK will be. And there's no way it's going to be done and dusted in 2 years. More like 5-10. That's a lot of time for the smoke to clear and dissenting voices to increase.

Most voters declared in a poll they'd only vote for it if living standards didn't drop. They already have and it hasn't even started yet.

Scotland leaves the uk Cheesy..NO CHANCE  .But we must give them the vote.
But in the contract should be no more votes for 250 years ..
But 1 last vote.

Scotland knew if they would of voted last time to pull out the uk  they would of been out of the EU.
Now they argue that the scotish people only stayed with the uk because of the EU..

So ok even though i know they voted to stay with the uk  ..Lets give them this last vote.
Because i know 100% Scotland will stay with the UK..

If oil goes as an energy source Scotland will be doomed ..

Also what scotland and most people don't know is because most countries are becoming free from war
they also can produce oil

So why do you think we buy of one type of people rather than the other?.
So what is 4 million scots going to do?..
The only way you can compete is to sell your oil cheap..

Then how cheap will you go not to upset RUSSIA and the like? Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy..

I am affraid some stupid scots I.E  nicola sturgeon  have no clue how this planet works..

Oh your going to ask NATO to defend you..I.E us English with our 2% GDP..

The scottish should really break away from the UK, In the Brexit referendum, Most of Scotland voted to stay in the EU whiles England voted for the Brexit. In order to stop the UK from collapsing, i think the countries should be represented individually and not as a whole like the UK.

I'm not sure the Scots can safely survive the separation from great Britain and to establish an Autonomous economy. Why do you think that the UK has lost from leaving the EU, and the Scots will benefit from the exit from the UK.
