NXT Wallet?

Hi,

I just installed the NXT client last night. Not sure where should I look for the wallet address. Does NXT have a wallet address like bitcoin addresses? Or the account number which starts with NXT is the wallet address itself? And how do I fund this wallet?

If I am on the wrong board, I'd move it. Thanks

This is correct.
Your address (account id) where you need to send coins and assets is what you see in the top left corner of the client.
NXT-BLAH-BLAH-BLAH-BLAH

Note that NXT is a brain wallet, there is no wallet file. You can access your account on any computer that has a client and if you remember your passphrase.

if you are using NXT, all you need is your passphrase access.
All is stored in blockchain...
unlike bitcoin, who have wallet.dat and a copy of blockchain locally, in NXT, all is sotred in blockchain...

...you buy nxt in any exchange who trade it...
you can use bittrx
https://bittrex.com/Market/Index?MarketName=BTC-NXT
or polo
https://poloniex.com/exchange#btc_nxt
or any other you want who trade NXT
then, all you need is to do a withdraw from exchange to you nxt address...
that's all
