I know the reason for most of my orphaned blocks. Daemon blockchain is buggy, really. I've mined block 83285 with hash 77e952ddc8ea36cf357b93b77b6a80560c41854e2c9917ba4c1853e7acec55ce (see https://explore.leviarcoin.org/). But a print_block 83285 returns block_id: bf242371ea86b300aed3b38e41d232d8a8ca34f82a4a15cb50cb6d27ac1ceb0b WTF? Why does the coin daemon my pool is connected to, return another block hash completely different than official blockchain? EDITprint_block 83286 returns block_id: 77e952ddc8ea36cf357b93b77b6a80560c41854e2c9917ba4c1853e7acec55ce So my blockchain, which is right now completely new synced, is one block ahead of official block chain!?

@Invis
I've a working pool now with correct rewards and unlocks, so your 30-40% is not a problem of blockchain. I'll test the next hours and if all is fine I make my pool public this evening (CET).

And what are you want from me? Also check blocks: 83361, 83350, 83341, 83336. And test payments

@matroska-leviar where are you?
Well, what are you shouting? While the pools robbed the miners and the price was high, he sold his coins and went to the Maldives

I was able to generate an address and even send after more than 10 attempts). But they did not come to cryptopia, although already have 100 confirmations.

@OrangeJam @vitik @rabudde It's a bit off topic, but as it is in beta state yet, I will open a separate ANN thread later. I think my pool is running stable now, payments are working. Calculation of hashrates and payments are also correct. There are many orphaned blocks still. I really believe it's due to short block time. To verify this, it would be great to get some more hash power. Even though for some hours. If possible let's test at https://xlc.minepool.xyz

Looks like we can forget this as there are too many problems that are not going to be fixed and thus the price ai not going to grow but instead will continue to drop.

There is no bug, you should have been payed yet (I can see so in payment list). It's a PPS pool, at this time (early stage/new coin) I think it's not really necessary to use PPLNS, due to short block times and high rewards. Maybe in future. As I've written, orphaned blocks are related to the fact, that there is another big pool with more hashpower which finds a block earlier mostly. So my guess is, when I gain more hash power, the orphaned blocks should decrease. But that is a fact that belongs to blockchain itself, really.

I wish to investigate in pool's situation now.
Now network hashrate is about 108kh, Dark's pool hashrate 150kh. Network hasrate decreases every minute. About 50-60% blocks orphaned. Pool get payments for 60kh/s only, and spread all coins for all miners, who makes 150kh/s. So each miner gets only 30-40% of desired coins. This situation affected all XLC pools at the moment. We already contacted Mark to fix this problem. Seems this is blockchain bug, because all blocks shares/diff higher than 60% count as orphaned and didnt paid by network. Any hashrate burst only decreases network speed. That situation started then XLC get listed by Cryptopia, because alot of new miners connected, and pool hashrate sometimes raised up to 600kh/s. But network hasrate and diff only decreased from this moment.
Just to repeat for all. All pools affected same thing. (we have tested with 3 private pools)

More hashpower = more orphaned blocks. Here is limit for block luck, that makes block go orphaned. Seems that some bug in blockchain, like with sumocoin. Also - fix links to blockchain explorer.

@minepool.de, your pool have problem with block unlocking, it count some valid blocks as orphaned, like xlc.globalpool.cc. Look at blockchain explorer, it doubles alot of blocks in list. Seems something with masternodes
