Shell account 5 BTC / month.

* Ubuntu Linux 10.4 LTS
* 2 GB memory
* 2.4 GHz cpu
* SSH for incoming connections (port 22) lolbox.sytes.net
* quota 1 gb -> more coins more quota...
* server in Finland, 24/2 mbit adsl, no-ip.com dns name

Server is experimental, so don't expect professional service.

I'm interested, but is this a simple shell account, or a virtual server?  Is the tech stats provided the total of the server shared among shell accounts (how many accounts do you plan on?) or is this the tech stats of a virtual server's quotas?

I ask, because I would consider 5 BTC per month for a simple shell account excessive, since I can get that for free many places.  But I would consider a virtual server, or a shell account with admin authorities to install programs (i.e. a small game server, for example) inside of a sandbox (which is basicly what a virtual server actually is) to be a bargin.

I wouldn't put a game server in Finland, as the ping times would suck, but that is an example.

"The powers of financial capitalism had another far-reaching aim, nothing less than to create a world system of financial control in private hands able to dominate the political system of each country and the economy of the world as a whole. This system was to be controlled in a feudalist fashion by the central banks of the world acting in concert, by secret agreements arrived at in frequent meetings and conferences. The apex of the systems was to be the Bank for International Settlements in Basel, Switzerland, a private bank owned and controlled by the world's central banks which were themselves private corporations. Each central bank...sought to dominate its government by its ability to control Treasury loans, to manipulate foreign exchanges, to influence the level of economic activity in the country, and to influence cooperative politicians by subsequent economic rewards in the business world."

Some answers:

* Outgoing SSH: yes. There's no restrictions in outgoing traffic.
* Screen: yes
* Irssi: yes
* Crontab: yes
* Bitcoin coin generation: not allowed, sorry
* Not a virtual server, resources shared with all users.
* Root access: no

Remember: I am really not very unix oriented person and this is just a hobby for me. Smiley

edit: coin generation

this is the guy who had the Scottish 419 letter up.

Now mind you it could be a funny joke, but still, makes me suspicious.

Grow a sense of humor, guys. The 419 post was obviously a joke:

Yeah my server business never succeeded so I am moving into email spamming.

Right now I am gathering addresses and my campaign will launch soon.
