Hello,

I would like to have some bios modded for:

MSI RX 480 8GB ARMOR
https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA7HN5HW4804&cm_re=msi_rx480-_-14-137-048-_-Product

and

ASUS RX 480 8GB
https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814126182&cm_re=asus_rx480-_-14-126-182-_-Product

I am looking to push close to 29MH each, they are currently hashing at 23.5 without mods. And 26.5 with timing mods i did.

Please post your price and experience and send me a pm.

Thanks

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

How much would a bios mod cost for RX480? Does it make sense to pay for a mod if I already get 28.4xx MH/s (dual mining) with MSI - Samsung mem?

What speed you get depends on the cards memory.
Hynix best I have ever gotten is 28MH
Samsung all my cards are getting 30-32MH
Micron people are getting 30MH
Elpida I have heard people getting up-to 33MH but others only getting 27MH

Use my tool for free to tweak your straps; you'll probably get >28Mh.

See the custom RAM timings thread for more details.

If you are at 28.4 mh/s then it doesn't make sense to pay for more unless you are running a medium to large scale mine.  29-32 mh/s can bring in more heat and more power draw.

What strap do you have? I tried 1500, 1625 & 1750 and the core and mem settings are different for each one. I'm currently with 1625 running 1120 core, 2060 mem getting 28.4xx  Higher mem and the pc freezes , higher core it restarts
