 I think OP will have a harder time meeting deadlines if below 3k. Its likely because people below 3k mmr usually don't care about team synergy and pick all carries or wrong supports. It would be possible but OP would have a hard time carrying the game if the rest of the team do not cooperate.

I totally agree with you I opened my mmr at like 300 XD first account had no knowledge at all then I spammed meepo to gain mmr because team won't cooperate meepo=solo carry.

Boosting up 1k+ mmr to higher range would be really hard since there are lots of cancer team mates on each gameplay which would be a hard thing for OP to boost it up and would really takes time.3k mmr start up would be a good choice and seeing on the rates its just fair because ranking an account isnt an easy thing at all.
