I don't hate litecoin and I don't take it as personality because of there are some people who said that litecoin is dead
 and will never goes up again, litecoin and another digital coins are place for making double our money, what they said ( litecoin haters) should be considered as opinions and speculation, all of users has right for show their mind on here include you and me.

Can you tell me the reason? IMO, it will be rational for me to see the price of litecoin around $10 - $15 caused by the SegWit hype. but $200 looks silly for me.

I think patience is something that really can make a difference when it comes to currencies like Litecoin, development is slow, but at least there is solid progress, and developers bring something new just when it's really needed.

I don’t think that many people hated litecoin, it was just passed by eth and ripple because they were funded and ran by a better community, core devs were doing a more active job than Litecoin devs, now that Litecoin is back on following bitcoins footsteps and trying the segwit option to show us if that Works or not we can clearly see that Litecoin will be the 2nd coin soon again.

$200 looks very silly to me too but a price around $10-$15 only because of SegWit is also very silly.
the SegWit hype can increase the price to 15-20 dollars easily and $50 if it gains some momentum and in case SegWit is activated litecoin price can simply go to $100 price overnight because of all the money that will fly in.

and remember SegWit support is constantly rising, it is now at 64.24% and it only needs 10.76% more to activate!

Yes $200 LTC now is silly. But so was $1000 BTC was upon a time. I arrive at the $200 figure assuming that LTC becomes the biggest altcoin. This may or may not happen.

True, it's nice to see Litecoin getting somewhere.  Annoying when coins like DASH get to a high as Litecoin has ever been just from a little pump of a shitcoin that thinks it's better than Bitcoin.

The integrity to be the second option from bitcoin. I mean the litecoin have same integrity with the bitcoin itself or less.

I was thinking about the big pump at the same time with the further ANN about the SegWit implementation.

If the SegWit of Litecoin is showing how the smoothly its SegWit scalability solution and more interest will come on the bitcoin SegWit.

All these other coins that have been getting huge percentage increases usually have some major flaw.

Dash was intentionally instamined 27% within 48 hours of release, name changed twice, and more....

XRP isn't designed the same as a typical crypto and is a centralized arbitrage token. Maybe less of a scam but still not quite what crypto was originally stated to "be about".

ETH/ETC - Not a fan of the switch. I was away from crypto and had some ETH sitting on poloniex that got converted without my knowledge which seems to me a huge fucking ripoff.


Bitcoin is still Bitcoin (unless the BU terrorists win, which they won't).

Litecoin is still Litecoin.

These two may not be "full of features" but they have stayed true to their word on what they were supposed to be. That is the #1 most important thing in this space if you ask me.

Features are usually a tool to justify some unnecessary new coin with a large premine. Segwit is one of the rare cases where an actual feature worth having is being implemented.


Full disclosure i'm on the LTC train but if DASH can hit $100, I think LTC could potentially do the same. I would very much love for DASH's Evan Duffield to rot in prison for his crime. 
Realistically I think $15-$25 is inevitable... $48 is the ATH equivalency which seems more likely than at any other point since then.

I'll also see 0.015 BTC as the lower bound for a fair LTC price (given historical valuations). It has always been technically superior and will move forward with SegWit.

$20 LTC is certain at some time in the future. Maybe tomorrow.

I was checking yesterdays trading  volumes and 22% of all crypto trading  was Bitcoin trading with fiat. 11% was Litecon trading with fiat.
If you take out bitcoin trading with alts, Bitcoin dont look that big anymore. 
and since talk in this thread was what LTC have that most other alts dont have is exactly this build infrastructure.
