Footage shows smoke-filled Sennaya metro station, following a blast that rocked the St. Petersburg metro network on Monday afternoon, when an unidentified explosive device went off on a train.

The blast affected Sennaya and the neighbouring Institute of Technology stations.

At least 9 people have been reportedly killed in the explosion, and St Petersburg Metro department have closed several subway stations in the wake of the incident.
