Cryptocurrency has reached a new all-time high market capitalization, building on previous highs set earlier this year.
According to data from Coinmarketcap.com, the combined cap of Bitcoin and altcoins reached $27.85 bln on April 2nd.

24 hour trading volumes across the exchanges registered by the site came in at $856.3 mln. While this was not a new
record in itself, figures rose throughout Sunday to challenge previous highs set in 2017. This year has seen bigger
trading volumes than any other.

It will probably only increase and thats a good thing. IMO I would like to see bitcoin pull back dominance from some of the other coins though that are obviously being used just as a way to speculate until the bitcoin infighting ends.

I think as well that every money that goes into crypto anywhere else than bitcoin is pure speculation.
I mean, why on earth would ETH be worth 4 billion dollars? I somehow do not get that.
But at least there is one positive effect I can think of: sooner or later a good part of that money is going to flow into bitcoin!

It certainly is the market is always growing over time it is as good a time to start investing in cryto as any.
With some luck investors now will be in pure profits soon enough.

I think this is definitely a crypto year. Because a lot of coins, specially bitcoin reach new height this year. And the market has been growing as compared to previous years. Maybe a lot of big investors are also putting their money on the crypto market which is a positive thing particularly for bitcoin market. Well some people must think so.

It's only a good choice in some circumstances.  If you have a stable income and some decent savings (and you're not just desperate) then it's great to invest in Bitcoin or a stable alt (but a lot of cryptocurrencies, including even Ethereum, are not counted here as their pumps are coming to an end).

Good to see it that high, now the entire market is starting to rival some smaller countries when it comes to GDP. Not that something like that means all that much, anyways.

The grow over the past 6 months has been astounding to be honest, never thought I was going to see something like this happen within the crypto markets so fast. Everything just kind of started to take off. I like it.

The real total market cap of all cryptocurrencies is way more than $27B, while some people believe that it's the opposite, like when you have 10M coin and a price of $1 per coin marketcap.com shows that coin has $10M total market cap and they say that there is no support to back that $10M.

While I'd say if you try to buy all the available supply of a coin (10M as example) you'll definitely end up with $10,000 per coin prices after buying 70% from exchanges.

Solution to avoid paying higher prices than $1 would be to slowly accumulate.

Now we all know that altcoins are being manipulated by a few whales as they own most of those coins supplies and practically control the market, albeit a few people are able to profit large amounts but the common folks end up in a trap (not fit to discuss in this topic).

There is a suspicious buy off with bitcoin going on since the price increase suddenly from $750 to $980+ looks like some governments are accumulating 100 bitcoins at a time or might be some smart investors, anyone selling bitcoin under $2000 is an idiot (I'm one of them).

The right time to invest was when the price was not yet this high but this is definitely the right time to trade crypto currency. There will be pulling of price between bitcoin and alt-coins and that is a good source of profit.

The forks issue and bitcoin unlimited effect on bitcoin price would soon come to and end and from there am speculating serious increase in price of bitcoin. Many people are buying into the idea of bitcoin investment today because of it volume. With this New high in volume, I am very optimistic that the volume mighty reach 1 trillion dollars before end of this year.
