No chance to get segwit without UASF. The ones that sold this morning at a loss did a good job, I can see it going lower. Time to search for another altcoin to make some gains for the time being...

I believe that LTC is doing the job that an altcoin has to do. Offer a new feature that BTC doesn't have, gain the media that comes with it, the price pump that is inevitable and tries to keep part of both (media and money) explaining why it is a good option for a specific BTC's gap (in that case, SegWit). If LTC succeeds in doing this, the price level will remain in the long term. If not, most of the money will go away.

It will go up, the hype is strong to be ignored.  There are a loud noise saying LTC will increase in price soon. And we all know that whenever there is this loud noise over a coin in a positive way, people will get interested to the point of joining the club in fear of missing out.  It happen and will always happen.

LTC hit .01 again. BW started signalling segwit. If it holds up segwit might activate. The problem I see is that there are only 1300 or so blocks left to mine during the activation window. If one of the pools stops signalling segwit will not activate.

Current hashing power is at %75. However blocks mined with segwit support is at 65.8%. For Segwit to activate there has to 75% of 8064 block window to activate. BW just joined in and Antpool has lost 3% of their miners in the past couple of days.

It's going to be close. If LTC1BTC were to activate we could see it. There are what appears to be 3 pools not signalling. LTC1BTC is the one that needs to activate.

I don't think ltc will rise immediatly after segwit , it may take some months .

Ltc has already risen 20% since mining the first segwit block, but i think u meant take off beyound that but ya at least until where we see where segwit is in a couple days when its time to mine the next round of blocks

It will not activate during period 5. Period 6 is a strong possibility. Plan your moves accordingly.

Every idiot knows the segwit coinbase blah blah now. I was expecting something to bust some of the fomoers from earlier this weekend when it hit a similar price point... .009 .0085..

Segwit signaling looks healthy, coupled with the Coinbase addition it's a good deal to hold. Of course we are always subjected to some dumb chink ruining the uptrend, but let's try not to think about that and enjoy the gains for the time being. I believe there is good enough traction to hit $20 and more if you like to gamble.

i checked the status yesterday on coinbase and under digital currencies it said litecoin operational, so they got to be getting close it has since been taken down but it looks like they def been testing it out to get it ready to go.
