I still have all 30,000 and I don't know what to do with them.

I sold mine to Arviccio for btc, and then spent them on SR. If you are looking to sell he pays out straight away.

I haven't looked into Ripple much. What is the purpose? I heard it is kind of like an IOU. |

I'm new to all this, but I signed up with ripple. Apparently I can't buy any ripples until I get 300 (or more) in my ripple.com account, but I can't see any way of getting those 300. Is it possible for anyone to transfer 300 into my account (however this is done ... I'm not entirely sure)? I guess I'd have to pay for those 300 ripples in some way.

I like how you think! That's exactly what I am saving up BTC for. Yeah, I know realistically it probably won't happen, but I can always hope. I figure if I can at least mine coins to help out the cause and jump on offers of new things like XRP, maybe it'll offer a tiny bit of help to get my family out of our current cramped digs and into something a bit nicer. In the mean time, I'll continue to work multiple jobs and scrimp and save. |
