Hello.
Yes, I use some of them and they work fine.
I connect the psu cable directly from it.

don't use sata connectors with rx series
even if you got brand psu, sata connector in a cheap chinese riser is not a brand Smiley

I hope that 007c risers sata will be more solid than molex-sata adapters
https://i5.walmartimages.com/asr/2388a95e-9c4d-4b94-8e5c-2c6c5f0edf6f_1.7b9d1235fcaa55bbac14ebc7eb7a02c3.jpeg?odnHeight=450&odnWidth=450&odnBg=FFFFFF
Im going to try those 007c, since i dont have an other option, got only 1 molex chain

never use any sata or sata converter for GPU, go for PCIE riser with 6-pin powered,
ver007 with sata powerr is worst riser of any versions

I have 750w evga psu with 4 VGA slots (VGA chain got only 1x 6+2, so its 4x 6+2 pin cables,).
so using this riser
http://photos05.redcart.pl/templates/images/description/19466/Image/produkty/riser/006c/Riser_USB3.0_Najnowsza_wersja_karty_60_cm_PCI-E_1x_do_16x_riser_006C_Zasilany_USB_3.0_Adapter_Extender_Riser_Karty_dla_Bitcoin_Litecoin1.jpg
I will be able to run 2 cards
first rx480 powered with 6pin (vga1)+ powered riser with 6pin(vga2)
and second the same rx480 powered with 6pin(vga3) + powered riser with 6pin(vga4)
correct me if im wrong please

This psu

EVGA SuperNOVA 750 W
http://www.evga.com/products/product.aspx?pn=220-G2-0750-XR
PCIE    4x 8pin (6+2)
Four-Pin Peripheral    4x

in this case this psu should connect 3x rx480?

vga1 6pin rx480
vga2 6pin rx480
1 chain with 4 molex (connecting max 2 risers with molex on 1 chain) [2 molex risers]
vga3 connecting 1 riser with 6pin [1 6pin riser]
vga 4 free

to be supersafe sounds good?

Yes. If u have good PSU u can use 2 molex riser on one line with rx 480.   My Leadteck 2000w work fine 6 month.  (but i dont use dual mining and my card use not more than 110W each)

all I use is 007 and they work perfect.  I build hundreds of these and NEVER had an issue.  the 6 pin plug is great but then it pigtails to a Sata anyway so now you have 2 connection points to deal with instead of 1.  I run EVGA 1300 and run 2 sata per cable.  works great.

Can you tell me where you found the ver007?

nope not me, I'm not gonna touch them ..I'll keep doing it how i am now ... unless they put PCI plugs on Ver 7, i won't be using it .... for safety reason...

I use one cable off the PSU to the PCEI and Spit it with http://www.ebay.com/itm/361651807884?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT after i found out how unsafe it might be using any thing but PCEI plugs with AMD or NV cards .

and like it a lot better more room, one or two less cables with a lot plugs on the cable to use that was getting in the way ...

I'm using these with 480's and never had a problem. Sata cable plugged in directly, no more than 2 risers per cable. The sata cable from the PSU can handle 150W max.
The ones that have molex to sata adapter are not too reliable although there have been claims that they work if not overloaded.

I have both 006c and 007, no noticeable difference between them.
