Also see Iamnotback's very valid point...  Btc may never get segwit and LN, which means massive development on Litecoin.

of course it's more than just a block scaling solution, it's primarily a pumping mechanism.

I've been reading a bunch "Why is there so much hype, Litecoin doesnt even need segwit"... people forget that it isn't just a block scaling solution

well it is mostly hype, nobody actually uses litecoin
I use litecoin, Assange uses litecoin, you can donate your litecoins to wikileaks if you hate it so much https://shop.wikileaks.org/donate
Can you do the same with ethereum or dash?

amount of transactions on litecoin chain are tiny block explorer doesn't lie.
