So, are there any updates coming? I still vote whenever I find the time and 24h have passed.
Are there any plans to update/expand the wallet?

what updates would you like to see?
Shapeshift integration? Haha, just kidden.

Actually the wallet is pretty good right now.
There are some things that would be cool, though:
- a fiat value calculation for different currencies like EUR, USD, YEN etc.
- 2 factor authentification
- a seed based wallet generation and an option to create a new wallet in the FILE tab

Yup! His name is TokyoGhetto. Very active and committed dev.
He's currently aiming to get BTCR voted on to POSW.
Currently at 209/1000.

This is correct. However the goal is to generate more interest so that BTCR can get a dev to update the wallet. The network is running fine and trading is taking place. I decided to get involved to keep the network going.

POSWallet changed the voting. Now you get 1 vote per week, not per day.

it will take long for lots of coins to get listed.

BTCR needs around 0.58 BTC in votes to get listed on POSWallet now.

Yeah, sounds like a great idea, a kind of mini-ICO. The question is: How will people get a return for their investment?
This change sucks. Takin 7x the time to get a coin listed out of the blue. Ugh.

BTCR needs 756 votes to get listed. Its 7 POSW per vote. So 756*7 = 5292 POSW which = 0.70 BTC.

launching a mini-ico would mean launching a separate blockchain to raise funds. I am in talks with several devs who say they can do it but they are busy at the time. The second option is to have BTCR holders back an existing blockchain, that way I can use the funds from that blockchain to support development of BTCR.

well it is still trading on novaexchange. plenty of liquidity there. I was hoping to get listed on POSWallet. I have been giving away plenty of BTCR and spending BTC on this while others just mine and dump. We will regain our momentum, its just that everyone has eyes on BTC running up.

its better to generate a stream of funds for development than having one lump sum. Also I would like those who invest to own something, and not just give money. I could probably achieve this by investing in a second blockchain with low coin emission and possibly masternodes. I will keep you guys up to date on what is decided.
