Hi
I had 0,25 bitcoins in my wallet, I made a transaction with 0,05, and somehow Multibit is now showing the rest 0,2 as "unconfirmed" for some reason.
I remember something similar happened when I had lime 0,051 and sent 0,05 and the remaining 0,001 got "unconfirmed" (it has been like 10 days since the transaction got cleared), however back then I thought that it was because 0,001 was smaller the the minimum allowed or something, but obviously this isn't the case with 0,02!

I'm really concerned that I might lost my Bitcoin, and don't understand why this happened. Can anyone give explanation/ suggest solutions?
I'm using Multibit 0,51.
I appreciate any help. Thanks.

Bitcoin addresses contain a checksum, so it is very unlikely that mistyping an address will cause you to lose money.

I've tried "Repai wallet" option, but I only got the small amount that I lost 10 days ago back. The rest is still unconfirmed.

Keep calm.  This is perfectly normal.
With bitcoin, you make your own change within the transaction.

Thanks a lot.
At first I thought about it being something normal, but the amount of people complaining about a similar real bug on the internet made me freak out a bit. However, I kept googling until I came across some comment that explained that this is the normal behavior when you send a part of a bitcoin, but being the newbie that I am, it was when I saw your comment that I really calmed down. Thanks.

Anyway, I learned something that I like to share, which is that there is an actual bug with MultiBit that causes balance to transform into unconfirmed bitcoins, and the devs apparently aren't taking it seriously:
https://github.com/keepkey/multibit-hd/issues/862

I think it would only be reasonable to consider moving to other solutions until this bug gets dealt with and fixed.
