I have been mining with this card for quite a while the LBC (Libry) algorithm but never checked the temperature of my GPU. I installed TechPower up GPU-Z and just checking the sensors and they show temperature of the card is from 72 to 77 grade celsius. I have fans running at 54% while I have 2 massive cooling fans in the case that go directly to the GPU.

Is this normal working temperature for this card ? So far no problem mining, I am only worried about the temp.

In my opinion optimal temperature for this card it's no more than 70° - just increase fans to 65%. But 77 its hot, not critical for nvidia.

Some people are saying they have 80 degree celsius and up to 87 sometimes. I guess I am letting the 77 be as it is constant at that temperature, never exceeds it. If it start doing it I will upgrade my CPU-cooler as sometimes the CPU-cooler throws hot air to the GPU (not my case) but will have to do that if the temperature surpasses 80 degree celsius.

By the way power consumption is only 86% max when mining Libry so about 105 Watt only.

Reference cards working with 80-86 and living 2...3...4 years and more. Your temperature is not critical and must not damage your gpu. I have palit dual fan 1060 3g - working with 77° with 100% tdp - didn't see any problems, gpu forking fine.

Yeah I just test that, let it run 24 hour non-stop mining lbry and never exceeded 77 degree celsius so I think it's ok.
Well this was a question I wanna ask anyway, how much is the life span of a card when mining at stock settings, no under volt or over clock done by me ? If it's 2 year I am happy with that amount of time.

It is fine, but your aim should be a little lower, try to keep the card around the 70. Overclocking will not damage the card, large temperatures and frequent temperature changes from cold to hot, will. Also the life of the card should be higher than two years even at 24/7. Just check the fans, they may need a change after years of going non-stop.

Thanks. That is good to know. Palit said it is ok and normal , NVIDIA-s are well known for running hot without problems, old Tesla models which I don't remember now were running at 95 degree celsius without problems. I don't want to increase the fan speed because their lifespan will be lower, I am happy with 45-57% they are running.
