They're worth quite a lot more than that.

Vircurex places a 'now' value on the 12 million right at 26BTC, what makes them worth 'more'?

Most Devcoins exchange hands through auctions like this or just direct sales than through Vircurex.

There were wants wanting twelve million or so, but all the offers to sell on Vircurex are only for a hundred thousand or two hundred thousand or so at a time way up to 0.00000250 BTC per coin or so. Past that, each 5 satoshis per coin there is another million waiting to be bought. So yeah if you want to place offers-to-buy and wait and wait and wait while people keep placing better offers above yours one day if someone blindly dumps a lot of DeVCoins you might get lucky but current sell offers seem to indicate people with whole millions to offer want at least 250 satoshis per coin for them.

(And get it... My million at 0.00000250 got bought, my million at 0.00000255 didn't get bought yet.)

12 million * 250 satoshis = 30 BTC, or slightly above the starting bid.

Auction has ended. No one bid, someone privately bought them.
