User iamag wanted to buy $200 in Amazon from my thread here, and requested I setup the transaction on bitmit for escrow. He received 3 codes for $180: 100, 75, and 25.

After having a problem ($100 code was redeemed) and accusing me of purposely sending bunk codes, I sent him an additional $50 and $60 code to get him the total value that he paid for. The $50 was mistyped by the person who bought the code and only the $60 worked. I sent him another $60 (he was always told the value of each code), and in the end he redeemed $220.

He now refuses to pay the difference of $18 (220 * 0.9 = 198, less the 180 paid)

I would not recommend this seller as there are others who provide correct codes for the money

while I got what I paid for this seller is promising codes that he has no idea works or not, I paid for 200 dollars worth in bitmit and was replied to with a 25 75 and 100 dollar code, both 25 and 75 worked fine but the 100 did not,

seller says I must include pictures to which i said OK but I said that none of this would even happen if he is selling codes that he knew which worked

honestly it wasnt worth the hassle, now he is putting up scam threads about me for 18 dollars in bitcoin which I told him I did not have, he is probably sad that he offered me a discount but then made a mistake not knowing which codes worked and ended up paying me 10 dollars more, Well sorry to say this but shouldnt be selling something you dont know works or not then ask buyers to prove it after

worthless and would never do business with again, I buy things quite regularly with bitcoin and I felt like I just did business with a 12 year old

you are dealing with money after all a bit of professionalism goes a long way

Since you attempted to blackmail me with negative feedback instead of paying the money you owed, I'd say you're the one acting like a child. None of the other buyers have had anything negative to say about me or my service (there's been about 4, plus others PMing for info and future trades).

While my word round here counts for very little, I will throw my 2 pence in.

In this situation I think that iamag is in the right. It is not his fault that you provided him with codes for an amount that is more than agreed. Also for the amount of hassle that seems to have occurred for him as a customer I would see it as good business practice to give the extra as a freebie.

If this turns out to be the case I would then expect iamag to leave positive feedback for you, as you did your best to make good on the transaction and it turned out profitable for him.

I believe that the level of disrespect he showed for me throughout the entire transaction, coupled with the fact that he knew how much he got and how much each code was, he should not have taken the money if he did not intend to pay the 90% price listed in my thread. He could have easily asked for a smaller amount or clarified with me that he shouldn't have to pay for it BEFORE deciding to redeem the last code.

I agree that things could have been handled better (probably on both sides). But the way I see it, is it really worth getting in to a mud slinging war over $18?

For me, I would just notch it up as a learning experience and move on.

Like I said, my view means virtually nothing. I'm just trying to look at it objectively.

due to your mistake you ended up giving me more than what I asked but now your asking me to pay you more money? this is a joke I hope others can see how you run business because it speaks volumes about you,

disrespect? I was absolutely polite until I tried the 100 dollar code and didnt work, that is when my calmness when out the window, I was expecting working product the first time not some ridiculous hassle,

@Blumyself: Why did you have to send broken codes in the first place? Is there no way to check whether a code works or not?
