Transferring BTC from bitcoins.lc to MtGox?

Hey All,

Total newb here but IT geek during the day so not completely in the dark about all this stuff- anyway.... Been doing some mining on a machine that I've learned pretty much blows for mining- got all of 0.4 BTC after about 2 weeks of 24/7 pool mining using bitcoins.lc.

Anyway, I purchased some BTC thru MtGox using USD/Dwolla and have it sitting stored in that exchange, and would like to consolidate my bitcoins.lc BTC to MtGox as well. Is this possible? Or is the only option for consolidation to setup either a local or cloud eWallet and direct my BTC from MtGox and bitcoins.lc to that wallet?

I would prefer to keep it all in the exchange so I can quickly interact with the market... that's why I'd rather move my holdings from bitcoins.lc to the exchange. Can it be done?

Yes this it's possible but be very careful. Mtgox destination wallet ids will be ephemeral and change so you should always update the destination wallet id stored in bitcoins.lc profile information RIGHT BEFORE you send your money.

Other than this potential pitfall, this is a good way to send bitcoins because jine kindly pays the 0.01 transaction fee when sending from bitcoins.lc so you avoid having to pay the fee yourself if you were to transfer to your wallet then to mtgox.

Make sure you use a strong password on mtgox that you haven't used anywhere else and keep your antivirus up to date on your pc.
