This is a bit tongue in cheek, but since we have "I'm back" I for one would  like to know who has the biggest *Rep*.. (interpret this as you will).... rightly or wrongly. Persons and entities may be considered.

Some worthy contenders for the Crown.

Zhou
Nefario
TRC Dev (i'm shutting it all down....no I'm not)
The FED (Ben&Co)
The Bitcoin Foundation
This forum
Gox
BFL
The Bitcoin Foundation (they make the rules don't they)
none of the above

Huh?
....
Profit
Person of your choice

any more you think should be added

'notoriety'
'scammer'
'ledgend'

aren't they all the same?

as Oscar Wilde said the only thing worse than being talked about is not being talked about.

Had to go with BFL.

A couple of your choices are small-time (if annoying).  A couple are only politicians.

Satoshi is beyond 'rep'.

Gox is kind of like a comfy old shoe that every now and then you put your foot into and there's a scorpion in there.  And the forum is too meta, for me anyway.

But BFL is special.

Pirate

"We are just fools. We insanely believe that we can replace one politician with another and something will really change. The ONLY possible way to achieve change is to change the very system of how government functions. Until we are prepared to do that, suck it up for your future belongs to the madness and corruption of politicians."

I suspect that's wishful thinking.  There's plenty of opportunity ahead for people to pull off bigger scams, and no shortage of likely victims.

Hell, we haven't even really seen any attempts at a hedge fund scam yet.

All I can say is that this is Bitcoin. I don't believe it until I see six confirmations.

There are going to to be by far larger scams in terms of dollar value, but in terms of bitcoins lost... With the redistribution during the year's bullrun, correction, recovery I don't know that collecting Pirateat40 numbers of coins is going to be as easy as Trendon had it.
