I hope Coinbase also adding Dogecoin. Dogecoin have the most adoption beside Bitcoin. I think Dogecoin would have the most crazy hype if coinbase do add them.

I just don't think coinbase will take dogecoin seriously and that's the sole reason for them to accept taking on ethereum in the first place. Due to it doing smart contract for businesses.
And you need to remember that Coinbase is business minded and that is what they are and always will be.

Based on the segwit activation signalling litecoin is getting hyped much. This will possibly​ come out with a better value when listed on coinbase, as it seems to be one among the best platform for all bitcoin related activities.

I just think if the price will not increase for significantly, My guess if that will not be touched another ATH in the future.

It will be available alongside Bitcoin and Ether.

My guess if this is need more clarification but every dev should have said his product will be available anywhere.

Yeah, people always ask which altcoins they should buy, and LTC and doge are always safe recommendations.  I'd be happy if Coinbase added doge, too, but I'm just not a big fan of Coinbase.  And I don't think there would be a huge spike because of either one getting added.  But who knows.  It's tough to underestimate the stupidity of the altcoin community.

He did not say WHEN they would be adding it to Coinbase though, just that it would be added. It could be soon, or it could be a year or two down the road. The thread title claiming it will happen soon is misleading. Not to mention all the other rumours about it being added over the past couple years, and it still hasn't happened yet.

It has been obvious since they added Ethereum that Litecoin would eventually be added as well, but who knows how long it will be until they actually do...

He hasn't given a timescale though, and they've been talking about litecoin on Coinbase for what seems like forever.

I'm not really sure, he's tweet looks like just an entertain. They have GDAX option on their product list, we know GDAX already have an option to trade btc, ltc, eth to fiat.

But if coinbase really adding ltc too, I'm sure the price will rise $15 or even more.

i don't think it would make much difference. it would be a positive but there are already ways to get it for fiat and traditionally when currencies have bigger exchange options opening up not a great deal happens.

what is interesting is that coinbase is also a merchant processor. if they added litecoin to that side of their business, that's a worthwhile development. it would be perfect for that job.
