Lost my bitcoins

Hello,
I've lost my main .wallet file after saving it in a flash drive. This flash drive it's not detected anymore after it get accidentaly removed very fast from my computer. I had the intention to make more copies but at that moment it was my first and only one, as I had just bought my bitcoins few time before. Is there any possibility of having my bitcoins back? I managed the wallet with multibit. Thanks.

as you know, your bitcoins are encrypted in a certain way so that owning a special file and its acces codes verifies you AS The legitimate owner offen The bitcoin value. This is to ensure safety offen your bitcoins but also gives way Tor a form nof bitcoin stealing, if someone copies your data. Thats also why no transaction can be reverted and every user offen bitcoins is responsible for safe handling of his data himself.
Unless you habe not made more than hat one copy, your data and also your bitcoins are irrebersibly lost...sorry!

haven't you a private key backup??
when you had installed Multibit, it asked you to do a backup of private key (or wallet)!?

Try to use recovery software, the only possibilty to get them back is to recover the wallet (or at least the privat key for the adress the bitcoins were send to)

I would try a data recovery program on the flash drive. There are plenty of freeware ones available. This may work as long as the flash drive is not completely broken but just the data is lost. Good luck.

R-studio shall recover anything from (nonbroken) drives. It is not free but is the best so far I tried.

What is with the original wallet file?
Even if you deleted it on your harddrive it is most likely still there. There is recovery software for this case. eg. http://www.krollontrack.com/data-recovery/

Probably you can also recover it from the usb drive. But i would recommend a backup of the broken stick first. Easy with dd under linux. Then try to fix the partition with fsck.

If you can't get your wallet file back your coins are lost.

It could be a high effort needed to restore that file. Is it worth it?

Unless you can find the private key or recover the wallet file, your are SOL.
