Just try to make something new
The idea is to make a public trusted lottery script

How it work ?
1. Admin start a new round with some timers
2. User visit website and buy a ticket
3. Website confirming user's transactions
4. When the timers end, the round ended and the rewards distributed for the winners based on shares
eg. First place 40%, Second place 30%, Third place 20%, and for admin 10% (from total rewards)
5. Website insert the winners and round into a history and clear all transactions and tickets
6. Admin start a new round again

Q : Why do you use faucet in a box script?
A : It's open source after all, and beside the template is good for me

What I need to do :
- Create a better random ticket when the timers end
- Pick some good escrow for deposit, I would prefer something with HTTP API, like coinbase, but have an escrow so the user can trust the website
- Add minimum buy for ticket
- Add maximum buy for ticket

And what I need to make is a real random pick for ticket, mean something that can prove that the winners is choosed randomly when te round 's ended
Maybe something like pick the winner from the first time round started and hash it, and make that hash public
or maybe a better

Despite the fact that I hate gambling and anything associated with it, your idea is not going to work. I can give you at list of gambling sites that turned into a scam after a short period of time. It's all about trust and making something centralized with the admin thing you mentioned is just not recommended (using an escrow won't make things decentralized either).

my idea is a site with a faucet of 25 doge an hour .. with lottery every hour
minimum to send is 100 doge so a fauceteer can bet lottery every 4 hours
but with depositing can be in play every hour .... draw is from any of dda
just apply chaldean numerology .... which dda (doge depositing address)
TENTH FROM THE LAST PAID DDA ... but it can be any other as we agree
it is transparent and need not hash or provably fair everyone can see all, lol

As you said you need to somehow make the game provably fair. You should generate a random number like 13, attach a long string like `13asldhfkshdfkjhskfhsjhfkjhskejfnejksnfknsefksjnefkjn`, hash that with something like sha512 which generates `69913AA99524D407CA606EA69E6BB0EE4DA6381D46E3F83DF6E55C06217B6B9B62686D6E6135DAFDAB87022077B4D38A6DA11CA0186CEFBD821B2DFAA4462BCE`. You should post this hash publicly and when the game is over, you can reveal the winner by posting `13asldhfkshdfkjhskfhsjhfkjhskejfnejksnfknsefksjnefkjn`

interesting idea, hash, reveal 13, but number 13 means that you can scam it to your benefit
.... but i need any number to be revealed after all users or players have deposited their bets
... i found a way: with crypto address translated into a number by use of caldean numerology
