As you can understand Donald have more time for his president job, because Melania live currently in New York ( less family life means more time for work ), so he can also start to think some more strong reaction on North Korea nuclear weapons & missile programme ( see more info here - http://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-17399847. What can happen if he will do something against North Korea ? Do not forget US obligations and US army presence in South Korea.

He is sending a carrier task group to the area. Maybe a false flag is in order and a reason to go in and kill that dicktator once and for all. China maybe against it but who knows what kind of deal he struck with Xi Jinping. Maybe they agreed to divide up the north between themselves. No one is going to care what happens to the Kim family.

Personally, I think it would be a mess to pressure N. Korea.

The concern that the US military types have is that the longer they wait the higher probability N. Korea will have nuclear weapons, which then make a seize of power incredibly more dangerous (and unlikely due to the higher nuclear risk).

There's no way the US can go in alone. If the entire developed world goes in together, or is in agreement with a seizure of power it would be OK. And the fallout from a capture of Kim (like the capture of Hussein) should be much more peaceful and positive given that that area of the world is more stable and there are fewer countries that would try to seize power in the vacuum.

Is DAESH present in that part of Asia? Are there other N. Korea factions that would try to seize control if the Kim family is removed? All news reports make it seem like Kim reigns control over everybody and there is no one else vying for power.

It seems to me that Trump has reached some kind of agreement with China and so he sent a fleet to the coast of North Korea. In any case, I don't think America will be at war on two fronts. Trump will have to decide or Korea or Syria.

Trump has proved himself to be as war-crazy as Hillary, with the recent missile attack on Syria. I am really afraid that he will trigger a major nuclear crisis by attacking North Korea. To Trump's credit, the DPRK is unlikely to attack mainland United States. But what about its neighbors, such as South Korea and Japan? These countries may be at the maximum risk of a nuclear attack from the North Koreans.

USA is all about words and threats right now and could not afford yet to touch North Korea. Though it can be sad because we outside of North Korea would want the current regime to finally end and stop all of its leader's crazy antics. North Korea is really a spoiled brat who has always a bad tantrum, willing to destroy his toys anytime he wants. I only pity the people of North Korea because majority of them really believe all words of their supreme leader all the way from A to Z.

I agree this.would.be a logistical/budgetary nightmare at this point, especially that we may engage Syria again in the immediate future. This.is a subterfuge I think; war is the patriotic banner that we can all rally behind, a common enemy that can let us put aside our differences at least temporarily to resist an outsider. But if we start this fight, we will have to finish it. Which means removing him from power, one way or the other.

As far as I know the rocket North Korea is not able to reach America. What can they do? Bomb carrier? I doubt it. I think that all the power of North Korea is nothing more than a bluff.

Do not think so narrowly. America has a lot of military bases, with a huge number of US citizens, as well as allies that have agreements with the US. Thus, North Korea can easily harm America, with a huge number of victims.

Let me put is like this.  Attacking North Korea has a Human capital cost.  The main objective is to liberate the North Korean people and perhaps give the land back to South Korea.  It is in the best interests of Freedom to save them but it remains as to whether we are willing to pay the price.

At best an assassination attempt could destabilize the region.  It seems that the main figurehead Kim-Jong-Un is the main malefactor and removing him could be a first step to incentivizing rebellion in North Korea, both in the Civilian population and the Military complex.

There is also the idea of striking first, the U.S could immediately target there long rang missile capabilities and remove them first.|

A direct invasion would cause a lot of bloodshed, hence why NK sustains a Large Military Force

Things to think about moving forward.  Especially if WW3 is on the Horizon.

If you want to liberate the North Korean people, then you should stay out of North Korea and offer moral support for any North Korean who is willing to revolt against Kim Jong Un. Outside interference is only going to increase the approval rating of Kim Jong Un.

LOL! Who's ready to rise up against Kim Jong-UN? They are like puppets running around him and cry when the country declared a day of mourning. It's funny to watch. And did you see how willfully they shook hands during the launch.

All these years, you have learned nothing. How many countries did get better after US chopped off head of its state leader?

And I guess, you are going to feed 20 million+ Koreans personally after all is done, huh? Know what, those people were brought up to see Kim family the same way you see Statue of Liberty and Constitution. You would not stop believing in freedom if some walking by Samaritan firebombed your home, would you? Youd look for a way to hurt him and his family back (which is precisely what Arabs have been doing since west backed Spring, if I remember).

It is almost hilarious, that so many smart people have problems relating to others.

Anyway, Kim family has to be ousted INTERNALLY by Koreans themselves. Only then through power vacuum and infighting in military junta can country open itself out to the outside - if the resulting unrest is what you wish for.

Personally, I am far more concerned about continent of Africa with its population DOUBLING every three decades. North Koreans if nothing else can actually feed themselves without foreign intervention. I see Trump actions the same way, I saw them in Syria - he wants to show strength and reassure regional allies, which is quite prudent. Not start another war, that will become huge humanitarian and moral problem in the future.

Only if the world encounters a problem due to North Korea, I am glad that this country will quickly cover radioactive ash. Only the question remains: are the citizens of North Korea, all the lives of the inhabitants of the earth in general.

Not sure, how to interpret your english, sir.

How exactly do North Koreans endanger your life, not to mention "all lives of inhabitants of the earth in general"? Cant you sleep at night, because you think NK commandoes watch your every step? Do you lock your doors to prevent NK geishas sneaking inside your bedroom and do terrible, nasty things to your bottom? Did you move all your pets to nuclear shelter already?

North Korea is isolated country, strategically, culturally and economically, even Chinese hate their guts for what it is worth. No country was invaded by North Korea in the past sixty damn years and none will, since they are bordered on one side by superpower of China, on the other US bolstered South Korea and... sea.

Number of Americans who have learned nothing since Vietnam and Afghanistan astounds me. If you need a hardon watching footage of falling bombs, then go play a videogame. You have not even considered other options (and you have plenty) but you are ready to talk about nuclear ash, you never saw in your life.

Thank god, Trump is far smarter than that.

Thank god, Trump is far smarter than that.

He's breaking the US-Russian relations and bombing Syria
Both things Hillary voters were up for
Not Trump voters
I don't believe we can assume what's Trump going to do
He already broke too many of his initial promises

Quote

I believe South Korea has substantial defenses.
And Kim shouldn't be that dumb to use the nuclear option, because he'll just get himself and his entire country killed.

Looking for a signature campaign.

If you ask me, I'd say leave them alone until he makes some stupid move like launching missiles or some external dodgy business. Then you go in, take him down and after he's down, I don't think that people would be that much in grief, since we know what situation is in there and i you look at it, liberated NK can be a great source of cheap work labor since they're used to working like that and the whole NK could become flooded with big companies looking for cheap labor so it would become far more industrialised and also there are a lot of people from NK and SK that are separated by that war.

Need some spare btc for a new PC that can at least run Adobe Dreamweaver.

Unfortunately I don't see much intelligence nor no Trump Ivanka. It is foolish to wait when they do something bad. You need to be proactive. Do you agree?
