Rather than going for proof of stakes coin go for a coin that has real use case like eth itself

I agree with you, for me if you want to invest for long term Ethereum is the best altcoin for that. Some people says that ethereum is second best option aside from bitcoin when it comes in investment. It also has a good value in the market. So if you want more profit return. You should check out MNX cuz the progress are really impressive, it's more than 200% within a month it such an impressive improvement. Yet, make sure to check other potential coins cuz everyone has their decisions.

You are right but not everyone can invest so much money in coins. Good option is zcash and waves for cheaper invest

if altcoin is hard to predict for sure. but which allows for a suitable longterm investment altcoin in my opinion is bitcoin cash, ethereum and litecoin. surely the coins will increase within the next 1-2 years.

There are lots of altcoins out there and some of it are promising but you have to check before you invest because no one you can blame if you failed your investment. So better do research for the altcoin you want to invest and then get your self ready for the result of your decision.

There are many promising coins around but this still a very hard prediction to make. Long term investments will be affected by many factor during wait time but if i had to pick one i would still go with waves. I am expecting it to reach some good numbers.

If you accept long-term investments and ready to wait 1-2 year, better pay attention on coins with it`s own blockchain: WAVES, TEZOS, EOS. BANCOR also is a good choice (ERC20 token). In future it will have a powerful ecosystem.

iexec. after the v2 realese in may 2018 it will have nodes for staking. Only few people know that and there is a good chance to grab some rlc when it is on the dip

I wanna start investing on cryptocurrencies, but it seems to be too late to invest on bitcoin. Some people here say it's not but I don't wanna try. So I will watch evolutions around alternate cryptocurrencies, like Ethereum. It seems to be a good long investment and people here comfort me in this think.

better you try to learn about masternodes,, all crypto with masternodes most likely have POS system,, for example dash, chaincoin and pivx
and very good for long term investments too
