Very interested in this service with currently cutting myself from and ditching my cell phone plan. And never really knowing much about voip and how it could work for my needs I think it is the right time to look into it. With wifi being available everywhere this is ideal for me to get. Thanks for the offering of this necessary service for all to use.

Tried a number of these on Android and have to say was not happy with all of them. A couple worked well initially but they all seem to run into problems down the line.
If anyone knows of a US, Can or UK virtual sim app similar to Voopee (Malaysian), do share. Voopee is free (top-up credit per use) and has worked well for me for Msia-Msia.

1. How secure this number really is? I guess it is not 100% anonymous, no phone number is. 2. I heard that some of your users had problems, numbers stopped working after some time - how exactly you deal with this type of situation? 3. I will be able to personally pick number or it will be assigned randomly for me? 4. If I buy & use a number and then won't use your service for some time and then decide to go back, will I retain my old number?

The great thing about VoIP is the no roaming, which really makes a huge difference. The service will work anywhere in the world as a local phone as long as you have an internet connection.

1. Correct no phone line is 100% secure, but if you take proper security measures into your own hands you can make them more secure. 2. I think you may be confusing us with another service, we only launched a few days ago and none of our users have had any issues with their phone numbers. 3. Yes you enter an area code that you like and we display a list of phone numbers from that area code that we have available. 4. Depends on the plan you select. If you use the unlimited plan the phone number only lasts as long as you keep paying for the unlimited service, with our pay as you go plans we deduct $0.99 a month from your balance for the phone number every 30 days. So if you buy $20 worth of phone credit and dont use it, we keep deducting $0.99 every 30 days so you can keep the phone number. Your balance will never expire.

Great innovation there and it can be use to verify gmail accounts which is really cool. Can this be used by Asian users like me? I'm from Philippines and would like to call to US landline and mobile for clients prospecting, it this possible? I'd be trying to avail one if confirmed.

Yes the app works off of any internet connection WiFi, 3G, 4G or LTE, and theres no roaming, for example you can have a US phone number to make/receive voice calls and SMS that works anywhere in the world as long as you have an internet connection. No roaming fee's at all. So a US number will make/receive calls like you are in the US, even if you are in Philippines.

What if I just need to receive calls from it and not really call from the phone number, will that also work? If so how is the payment scheme for it? I probably will just need it to confirm a few accounts requiring a phone number from the US and I would love to keep the number private for me forever.

Yes you can use the phone to receive calls/SMS only if you like, the rates are the same for sending and receiving. The phone number is a dedicated phone number so only you can use it, the cost for the phone number is $0.99 a month, and it is automatically deducted from your balance.

I signed up for the free trial.
Got $1.5 in credit, everything was going well and I thought this was the perfect service. Got a $.99 mobile number from the US and thought I would use it as an anonymous virtual SIM.
However, around 10 minutes later, I got 2 unsolicited verification messages from Perk and InstaGC. Now this isnt supposed to happen. I'm not sure what had happened but if you buy a number someone else shouldnt have access to that number. This can lead to spam, unsolicited calls and SMS, etc.

Please PM me the phone number so I can look into it. We dont recycle phone numbers, and our provider does not resell phone numbers for a minimum of 6 months after we cancel them, the phone number is dedicated and unique to you. This is first complaint we have received about this and we would like to get to the bottom of it.
