Shevchenko came out and tried to wrestle Julianna Pena. I'm wondering if she'll try to do something similar with Amanda Nunes being that Nunes gased out inside 1 round when she tried to wrestle Cat Zingano.

BTW the fight between Michael Johnson and Justin Gaethje was incredible for anyone who missed it. One of the most ridiculous fights I've ever seen.

Their first met on Nunes vs Shevchenko 1 is really close match imo and i want Shevchenko win this 2nd time their met because i hate nunes and she is so cocky af. I think Shevchenko has a good chance to win too and she has a damn good odds though, worth to try imo.

Amanda Nunes has a good story as the first  LGBQT champion,the first fight was not that close,yes in the final minutes of the fight Shevchenko took the fight to Nunes,other than that she was dominating in every position,Ronda was cocky ,if you start hating people for their attitude,you cannot do anything.

Sad to see that Michael Johnson had to eat his words  ,he was calling Gaethje a C level fighter and not fit for the big leagues and he was not able to finish him when he had the chance,Justin Gaethje always fights like this ,in your face kind of fighter who takes a punch to lands a punch and still he is undefeated in his career and i thought Johnson will be his biggest challenge because of his fast hands but Gaethje proved he has a solid chin and now he is calling out Tony  Ferguson   ,business wise it is a bad decision,he had to face low ranked fighters and give some exciting fights for the fans and make a hell lot of money and then face the elite fighters,but he just wants tough fights and this is one of the best fights this year.

EDIT: There is a big change of events, Amanda Nunes pulled out of the fight as she is not feeling well and now Yoel Romero vs Robert Whittaker will be the main event. Joanna Jedrzejczyk is ready to face Valentina Shevchenko and they want the fight  for the inaugural 125 pounds  that wont happen now because the weigh ins are over and hours left for the fight to begin and the commissions wont accept any replacement this late.

Lol.  I'm 0 - 2 for this event, that Overeem decision was clearly the wrong one.  Mafia gonna mafia I guess.  The fight is in Vegas so these things will happen.

And it looks like Whitaker is destined to be MW champ.  Bisping will have a handful vs him.  I'm also glad Nunes cancelled.  It felt like I was going 0 - 3 for the night.

Lmao, Werdeum CAN finish Overeem on round 3 but stupid werdeum not continue punch standing but he take a takedown, that Knee to the chin is really pain for overeem. Overeem win in the first 2 round though, thats why he won. On the other match, why the fuck Nunes pull out, i'm waiting nunes loss on this match though, that sad.

It was unfortunate to see the main fight cancelled due Nunes having some sort of illness. Anyway, I enjoyed to see Overeem and Werdum fight which are 2 OGs of the game. I thought Overeem was going to lose by TKO again, but he managed to survive the third round.

Honestly it was a controversial win. It was almost a tie to me. Both could have won, but this things can happen in the fighting game. I guess judges thought round 1 and 2 were a win for Overeem and Werdum failed to finish him in the 3rd round.

Nope, Nunes didn't have an illness.  She was cleared by the doctors to fight but she 'didn't feel right'.  Her problem was more mental than physical, and I'm glad she backed out else I would have lost another bet.

Michael Bisping would have had a better chance of defeating Yoel Romero. Now he'll face a tougher opponent in Robert Whittaker. Its crazy how the level of MMA continues to increase to where fights are getting ridiculous in terms of the athleticism and punishment these guys can take and dish out.

Crazy that australia crowned two new champions inside something like a week or two with Jeff Horn getting the nod over Pacquiao and Robert Whittaker winning the interim belt. If Mark Hunt could take the belt at heavyweight that would give them 3 champs.

The Overeem vs Werdum is really a good one. Werdum should have finished him. But rather than Rather than keeping the fight standing and going for the knockout, Werdum took down Overeem, where he maintained the dominant position but failed to pick up the finish.Yes, round 1 and 2 for Reem that gave him enough breathing room to win the fight. The win gave Reem a good chance of landing a fight with the Stipe Miocic for the belt.

I have noticed that Overeem has serious problems trying to stop an attacker on striking position and coming forward, he always gets clipped and his head becomes woobly, then an experienced striker could finish him. Werdum is not the best striker in the world so he didn't fully capitalize on it, Miocic could have finished him again on that situation just like last time.

The situation with Jon Jones and Amanda Nunes is different and i am sure she wont get a main event because she was cleared by medicals but she was not willing to fight ,which is a huge blow because the amount of money they spent for promotion and other things just went  because she was not willing to fight as she was mentally not in the best shape.
