Hi, new to Bitcoins, hoping to learn fast. I should have gotten in a few months ago when I first heard about them. But I figure it's still not too late if this could really revolutionize the internet. This is my mobo: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131277This is my processor (I realize CPU doesnt affect things, but a bad ass CPU still allows your computer to work better): http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115017And I also have two dual Nvidia GeForce 9800 GT's I realize ATI's are better for mining, but I already have 2 dual cards, so I figured it still might be ok. What do you guys think, is it worth it for me?

Figuring that you'll get about 30MH/s from each card and a total of 60MH/s combined, you should get about .5 Bitcoins per week. Of course this depends on a variety of things like mining software used, mining pool being used, and luck. At worse you could run your setup for about 10 to 12 weeks, cash out, and use that money to get a better card to mine with.

Hmm, that's not too bad. What amount of bitcoins are people getting per week that have banger ATI cards?

At this exact moment, if you are paying 15¢ per KWh and difficulty and price per BTC remains constant you'd clear a whopping $10 in profit for 1 month. But difficulty will not remain constant, it will likely continue to go up about once every 10-14 days between 25-35%. If the price does not keep up the difficulty then your rig will be losing your money within a month because of electricity costs.

I'm getting 4-5 BTCs/week with my properly configured dual ATI 6950 non-reference cards, hashing 660Mhash/s.
At current difficulty, you can expect to get about 0.1% of your Mhash/s in BTCs each day. So if you have 1Ghash/s, you'll get 1 BTC/day. If you have 100Mhash, you'll get 0.1 BTC a day.
Hope that helps.

Its not worth it for the few dollars you will make...if you make anything considering depreciation.
