Charnacoin is a new cryptocurrency based on CryptoNote technology. It's major benefit is to provide much stronger privacy to both the senders and receivers of transactions.
With Charnacoin, you are your own bank. Only you control and are responsible for your funds, and your accounts and transactions are kept private from prying eyes.
Charnacoin improves upon the base CryptoNote technology in several ways that strengthen its anonymity and reduce the size of the global ledger of all transactions, called the "blockchain".

Because of the decentralized and peer-to-peer nature of the Charnacoin network it becomes more robust and resilient as it becomes larger. We encourage all users to run a full node, if they are able to.
Running a Charnacoin node does not yet require a huge amount of processing power, but it does require a few gigabytes worth of disk space to store the blockchain, and there will be some impact on your bandwidth especially from connected nodes that are catching up on the blockchain. The easiest way to run a Charnacoin node, without affecting your home bandwidth, is to purchase a VPS (Virtual Private Server).

Running the Node
Once you have the files downloaded and unpacked you don't need to do anything beyond running the Charnacoin daemon (charnacoind).
On Linux: dependent on whether you are running it on a desktop or server operating system, you will want to start charnacoind either in a screen session or in a console window of its own.

charnacoin (CHRC) is a privacy-focused cryptocurrency that is not based on Bitcoin's code. CharnaCoin aims to be a tangible and untraceable digital medium of exchange. It intrinsically has a higher degree of privacy than Bitcoin or any of its various forks.

Looks like I am doing something wrong, but downloaded simplewallet and after running command for wallet I get Error: you can't specify daemon host or port several times
edit: ok wallet is running but pool is not working for mining.

Same guestion, but I think that we can wait some more days. By the way, is it really true that only XMR is untraceable crypto? Today I heard that monero is used a lot in darknet. If that is true and CHRC is based on the same code, it could be used also the same way, that would pump price nice up..

First he made goshen and told idiots that amazon accepts his coin which allowed him to sell noobs over 0.09 btc worth of goshen. He had spare time and posted this charna ann thinking he can do the same here. Wait for him to announce that amazon accepts charna.

I am pretty sure that this coin will get accepted to most exchanges, maybe not Poloniex or Bittrex. OP did you ask YoBit to have the coin placed in their exchange?

Never ask for yoshit, that bunch of scammers cost me lot of funds. Nova or cryptopia is the way I would go. But if there will be any development, this could be interesting..
