according to that post you can not sign a message on the new blockchain wallet. Here is shorenas, quote

 

Note: Blockchain.info's new wallet does not allow you to sign a message, nor does it allow you to easily export the private key in order to sign with a different wallet. There is a crude work around here -> https://docs.google.com/document/d/1-2l6xOqcbjs9QWEqSh72RD1d8EEdvG_hQuEXw_f_o6w/edit

it have an instruction to export the privatekeys, you can sign it instead using electrum once you import your wallet in it.

wallet.counterwallet.io allows you to easily sign messages with a bitcoin address.
It is a Counterparty compatible wallet, not just a bitcoin wallet. There are other tools and wallets that allow you to do so.
I believe the electrum wallet also allows you to easily sign messages.
