Hmm, pretty good, but still a bit over the head of most people, I think.  You should add a blurb about www.bitcoinme.com near the end.

"The powers of financial capitalism had another far-reaching aim, nothing less than to create a world system of financial control in private hands able to dominate the political system of each country and the economy of the world as a whole. This system was to be controlled in a feudalist fashion by the central banks of the world acting in concert, by secret agreements arrived at in frequent meetings and conferences. The apex of the systems was to be the Bank for International Settlements in Basel, Switzerland, a private bank owned and controlled by the world's central banks which were themselves private corporations. Each central bank...sought to dominate its government by its ability to control Treasury loans, to manipulate foreign exchanges, to influence the level of economic activity in the country, and to influence cooperative politicians by subsequent economic rewards in the business world."

- Carroll Quigley, CFR member, mentor to Bill Clinton, from 'Tragedy And Hope'

I liked the video, but your average internet user will have no clue what they are talking about.

Hopefully, understanding the operation of bitcoin won't be a prerequisite for average people to adopt it Smiley

"We will not find a solution to political problems in cryptography, but we can win a major battle in the arms race and gain a new territory of freedom for several years.

Governments are good at cutting off the heads of a centrally controlled networks, but pure P2P networks are holding their own."

good quick effort, noagenda, your video is much more understandable for average folk. Smiley

However, I don't really think these xtranormal videos are the best way to communicate the concepts underlying bitcoin.  I think that a shorter (1-2 minute) visual animation showing a transaction getting verified in a network would be the best way to communicate the concept to average people so that they can *see* how bitcoin works.

I agree. Visual animation would work better than talking heads.

I don't get that.
Why do you people let the computer speak for your characters ?
Why don't you just use your own voices ?

Robo-speaking is totally distracting for most people.

Good effort, but PLEASE PEOPLE stop making xtranormal videos!!!!!!!
just because theres a cartoon face with some monotone voice doesn't make it any more interesting than just reading it on paper.
if you're gonna do a cartoon, do something along the lines of http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vVkFb26u9g8
