Correct password ends up saying password did not unlock the wallet when opening multibit HD, I noticed its been happening to me last few weeks everytime I rebooted my laptop. The password is 100% correct yet it'll say its not. I used to be able to restore the wallet on another PC and move the coins to a new wallet, but today its gotten even worse for me.
I tried on 3 different PC's and using my seed+timestamp that are correct, I input a new password and the wallet gets restored, I see balance and as soon as the synchro is finished and it asks password to unlock the wallet, it again says the password did not unlock the wallet. So I am so far completely 100% locked out of my wallet with 1.20BTC on it.
Any advice? Is there any other wallet software that I could use to restore my multibit HD 0.5.1 wallet into?
Please help
Update: Tried multibit hd 0.4.1 and same problem, even the password recovery feature shows new password as correct. Tried restoring on 2 different laptops and 2 desktops all failing.

You can solve your problem by importing your multibit wallet words into breadwallet on your phone. You need either an iPhone or one of the latest androids to run breadwallet. If your phone can't run breadwallet you could try importing your multibit wallet words into mycelium, which runs on older android phones. This post explains how to do it, but I'm not sure it works. I know of people who tried with breadwallet and reported it works, but I don't know of anyone that's tried with mycelium yet. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1818831.msg18116628#msg18116628 There's another solution if you can't use either the breadwallet method, or the mycelium method, but it requires more work. You can find out how to do it by reading the thread link below. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1785575.0

I think after this I will take money from there, I don`t have much left there, but anyway I don`t wish to leave it there. I learned my lesson and I`m sure that I will not use multibit anymore, I will find myself some better wallet, I don`t like when I need to bother myself with this stupid situations. Thanks again Hi_Tech99 you helped me a lot.

I got same issue today. For now all of my attempts to restore the wallet were unsuccessful. Developers of MultiBit HD are extremely irresponsible

The absolute same password bug happened to me today. How is this even possible? Like this seems to be a widespread bug that happens at the exact same time what the heck?! Possible because developers unprofessional and extremely irresponsible dont buy a KeepKey hardwarer wallet ,( the same guys are in charge of that too ) they couldnt even prevent their email and twitter account being taken over by hackers at christmas so what hope do they have of protecting your bitcoins ??
