MtGox username

I set up a MtGox account the other day and when they asked for a "user name"  I made up a silly handle.  I just read that in order to link a checking account the names on the MtGox account and the name on the checking account have to match.  Should I have used my real name as the user name instead of a silly handle?  I'm not even sure how to change it short of deleting the account and starting over.

This has nothing to do with MtGox, but could someone tell me what the latest client for bitcoin is?  I still haven't gotten around to downloading it.  Thanks

I would be very surprised if teh username matters at all

Yes I know that is screwy. I couldn't find my real name on there either until I verified my account and entered it.
