There is always clever things to discuss. But this here is full of noise. I hope it doesn't become like that in all the forum, although I think it's inevitable.

I don't know how to move up in ranking, and rather than sounding like an idiot, I keep my mouth shut.

So I guess I'll never move up in ranking.

Of course there's going to be alot of noise in this section. Everyone needs to meet their 5 post limit so they can get out. I've been a long time lurker and would have signed up long ago if I knew I had to post 5 times here.

just read the sticky. that is a much better requirement than the previous "50 post". there are members that have been on this forum for months that have less than 50 posts.

no, we should just have a post randomly selected every 10 minutes for each post to be promoted out of the newbie section

I'll start a new blockchain, we'll call it bitcoincoins

Please, I have been checking up on this subforum for a few hours now just looking for anything vaguely interesting to respond to... as you can see only (now 5) posts have been achieved.

I hope there is an easier way to get our restrictions lifted, I really would like to go discuss economics, trading, ect ect.

to get the restriction lifted just browse all the other forums and do your research. I have learned alot by just browsing. and you can easily get your posts up to 5 just by adding your 2c to some of the posts in here.

Its a difficult restriction to make. Some people are content posting moronically every 5 seconds, whereas some are only comfortable responding to actual intelligent discussion every now and then. Which of the two would you rather have access to the rest of the forum?

A lot of people who may want to use bitcoins will turn away from it if they are unable to freely use the forums Undecided

This.

For an open currency, this is a very closed community.
