It seems to me that this once again confirms that in order to avoid problems it is time to hold elections. As soon as the power is preserved sooner or later it will lead to dictatorship and then war.

I believe somebody is trying to hide evil that has be committed against people of Syria by their own leader or someone who claims he is helping them. If this evil is covered up by lied and media propaganda by those people behind this evil then God will have the final said ever this issues. Chemical attack is crime against humanity and genuine people should not fold they hand and watch it sweep under Capet.

Army Command: Hundreds, including many civilians, killed in int’l coalition’s airstrike on ISIS toxic materials depot

Damascus, SANA- The General Command of the Army and Armed Forces said on Thursday that hundreds were killed, including a large number of civilians, due to an air strike carried out by aircrafts of the so-called US-led international coalition against a huge depot for ISIS terrorist organization that includes toxic materials in the village of Hatla in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor province.

In a statement on Thursday, the General Command said aircrafts of the international coalition carried out between 17:30 and 17:50 pm on Wednesday an air strike against a position of ISIS terrorists that includes a large number of foreign mercenaries in the village of Hatla to the east of Deir Ezzor, causing a white cloud that soon turned into yellow as a result of the explosion of a huge depot that includes a large amount of toxic materials.

The General Command said that a fire erupted as a result of the strike that lasted until 22:30 pm, while hundreds of people were killed, including a large number of civilians, due to suffocation caused by the inhalation of toxic materials.

The Army’s Command noted that this incident confirms the truth of the coordination between the terrorist organizations and the countries supporting them to find pretexts and to accuse the Syrian Arab Army of using chemical weapons, adding that this incident also confirms that the terrorist organizations, mainly ISIS and Jabhat al-Nusra, possess chemical weapons and have the ability to obtain, transfer, store and use those weapons with the help of well-known countries in the region.

“This is what Syria has warned of every time terrorist groups used chemical weapons against the civilians and Syrian Arab Armed Forces,” the statement added.

The command reiterated its assertion that it neither possess any types of chemical weapons, nor has it used any, warning of the dangers of continued use of chemical weapons by the terrorist groups against civilians, particularly after the messages these groups have recently received which provide cover to their actions and allow them to escape punishment.

I think that Americans is not profitable to do great destruction in Syria. It is in their interests to see Syria quickly recovered after the war and began to supply the hydrocarbons through Turkey to Europe.

The yellow smoke is of course yelling nonsense. But let's reconcile on what to do IF a warehouse/easytarget of very dangerous materials got discovered. Chemical weapons are usualy binary weapons. The substances are highly reactive in their final condition, in direct comparison inert chemicals - inhalating them would do mostly nothing - dont even react at all. Hence the shelf storage as binary components. It's related to shelf life.

There would be no coalition air strike against an area like that. The casualty numbers are uncalculateable, and the guilt would stick with line of command. And there comes the bigger difficulty. How to defeat the thread?
Sending Marines is out of the question, they would be the highest efficience response of course but you can't risk their lives. Ever seen mustard agent burns? Stuff like that make me consider just sending in a Davy Crockett. With just as desastrous results.

I may say harsh words, but these sacrifices is the price paid for inaction of the total population. If you are afraid to confront the enemy (whether internal or external) you still become a victim. Only struggle provides you the chance to survive.

If that is true and correct then the United States of America should give assistance to the family of the victims who died from poisoning. Though America may have made decisions to stop terrorism but the collateral damage was also high since there are many people who are being affected by the poisonous gas leak. The event was uncontrollable but since the US caused it they have a moral and social obligation towards the victims.

That makes it very unlikely that Assad is behind the attacks. Because he is having the upper hand on the war field for the past many months.

From the point of view of logic it seems to me that it is most likely that in this situation, Assad was framed. The example of Syria Trump showed the willingness of America to act against North Korea without looking back at Russia's reaction (because it also has 40km of the border with North Korea. The purpose of Tillerson's visit to Moscow was to warn Russia of the impending blow. Assad is just a pawn in this game.

Even though we don't fully know if this action has been confirmed like the action before against using chemical weapons against children, which were their own people which is beyond horrid to see. Now lets just go on a limb here and say your sources are correct, I think this is going to mark the end of the Assad regime and they should be removed from power at this point.

You can't allow someone to commit such atrocities against their own people and just get away with it, I think Trump took a stand against this when he fired the 59 tomahawk missles at the Syrian air base but that was just a start. If more problems arise out of Syria with them using horrid banned weapons against their own people they should all be shot and killed.
