I guess we will see a new top bottom between 2000-2500$ just a matter of time.
Every year Xmas is really inspiring for bitcoin and another pump of the price is not impossible.
I noticed that Christmas pump continuously in every December. This is the time we can many huge spikes apart from the halving. Last year halving price bumped around 800$ and more after the Christmas price flight to 1300$ due to continuous pump till February. Mostly in Christmas time, most of the people will be on leave or move vacation outings. In this time especially price spikes huge. I really looking forward to know the reason behind it. |

Christmas 2018 is a long way off, there could be a whole heap of stuff that happens between then and now. I would say $5,000 at that time would be nice and not too far fetched.
is still very far away for Christmas. in 2018 anything can happen, bitcoin price increase would be very difficult to predict. but look at the current situation so we can make sure that the price will exceed the price of bitcoin at this time. |

Price bitcoin might reach 3000UsD. But this is merely a prediction of course, is in fact the price of bitcoin it will be difficult to predict. Even by people who work in the stock market though.

i really think it will be atleast $5k in the next 2 years....that might look big but it will be a 400% rise. by comparison bitcoin has done a 600% rise last year! 200$ low to 1200$

Around 2000, or at least it will be good to see this as a new bottom price. It's a lot of time, and many things can happen. If, but only if miners do something with confirmation time, segwit and other questions price can be much higher.
xIIImal pointed interesting observation, in Christmas time price usually tend to go up, last two Christmas while I'm here was the same, will the third one be the same? Big probability, I can't wait to see what will happen.

if trend continues we will be able to see 2k$ per bitcoin by 2018 its early to speculate but its almost 2 years and their is always possible rise up from time to time, bitcoin last year made it double again from 600$ to 1200$ by now so if another two years or less 2k$ is achievable. can't wait to see that rise up better to start buying and holding btc now.
I also voted for $2000 by Christmas $2018, although we are still far from it, a lot can happened, maybe the scaling drama is over by that time so the only obstacles has been hurdled already and bitcoin will enjoy the best year in 2018 can will make the price go to $2000. I also factor in the legality of certain countries to adopt bitcoin like Japan did right now so I speculate it will touch $2000 in 2018. |

Assuming we go parabolic this year, next xmas is probably 1 year after the crash. Perhaps with some holiday season pumps, $2500?

Bitcoin by Christmas in 2018 I think it is still very long and far, so it is uncertain whether the price will be better or not. But if the price of bitcoin continue like now that tend to rise and did not fall of long-standing, at Christmas 2018 maybe the price could reach about $ 2,000 - @ 2,500. We better see how bitcoin in the future and we will know what the price of bitcoin later  But I believe prices at Christmas 2018 will be better than it is now. |

I voted for 2000$ as many other users. But honestly I think it's too early to make predictions for Christmas, who knows what may happen till that time? Many factors affect bitcoin's price and in this period everything can change.

I voted for 5k but I think more like $3500. Bitcoins will probably ~double each year at this point in time, on average. There are going to be bumps in the road though, so $4k or $5k I don't see happening, but $3.5k seems realistic.
Oh ya and people need to read this a little more clearly. CHRISTMAS 2018, so not this coming Christmas morons.

Are you some kind of expert? Do you have a crystal ball? What knowledge do you have that other don't that makes you think you know better than the rest? A little humility will tale you a long way, mate. I recommend you have some. Btw, I voted 2000 USD just like you. With the lock on the scaling drama, that's being optimistic. I could also see this not going anywhere. But who knows... No one can really predict these things. Clicked on 2000 USD, too. But that only proves his point! You mean 1 satoshi = 1 USD in less than 2 years time span ? I am too confident about that prices but not in same time frame. Trump seems more USA specific than his predecessors and I do not think he will kill his own currency. Maybe when bitcoin prices will be hitting $2000, it may create more hype among the rest of the people unlike what we had when bitcoin prices were reaching $1000 in the beginning of this year. I am believing only into those non-bitcoiners, for taking bitcoin prices in to new heights like $5k/10k/50k/100k. Because only new investors will bring exponential appreciation for the bitcoin prices. |

It's quite far away, but from the given options $2000 seems to be a reasonable target. It will give the price enough time to develop. I however keep holding a defensive stance as long as Bitcoin isn't scaling. It's the only thing that prevents Bitcoin from moving forward. If that's out of the way, there will literally not be anything that can stop Bitcoin from growing. But as it is today, it's an annoying obstacle that needs to get cleared.

I also dream of $100 million each but it won't happen till Christmas of 2018. I also believe Trump does not care about Bitcoin and have nothing to do with Bitcoin and he won't dare abolish the centuries old proven currency of US of A. I would think $1500 - $2000 is a fair range and more realistic than speculation way above it. The continuous boom of Bitcoin in Japan, China regulation which can bring merchant trust to accept Bitcoin and other country following either Japan or China's approach to BTC will certainly give it a boost in adoption but it is a short span of time to say Bitcoin will reach $3k and up. Always think the possible resistance to the price increase. |
