market data on all cryptocurrencies - advice needed!

Hello my dear fellow crypto enthousiasts,

I'm need of your advice!

For a economic project I would like to gather marketcap/price information over a certain time interval (historical + daily) of all cryptocurrencies that are relevant.
As relevant you could consider all coins trading on a certain exchange (for instance Bittrex) or the top 500 currencies listed on coinmarketcap. Is there anyway to achieve this? Like export that stuff to Excel. I'll be glad to hear it from you in the comments.

Example: say I would want to see the historical marketcap evolution of the top 51-250 cryptocurrencies on coinmarketcap and compare that to the top 50, this over the past year.
